CDs for Friends

Everyone knows that the cheapest thing to get a friend is to make them a CD. Even better is to put songs on there that remind you of your friendship.

I'm dumb and can't think of any except "That's what Friends are for" and "Wind beneath my wings". Help me out!

Also, are there any tequila songs out on kazaa? And I'd really like it if there were any Phi Mu songs that someone has that I can download and put on there. Slow or fast songs work great!

I put songs that I know THEY like, songs that were playing when we were taking a road trip, she met her boyfriend, etc. Don't think about "Friendship" per say, think about the friend. Is she a workout junkie ? Make her a CD with high energy music. Is he dating someone? Make a CD with lots of hot, sexy makeout music....

I like sigmagrrl's ideas! I made my boyfriend a CD a while ago, and it's got all "sexy" songs on it. I made myself a copy too and still listen to it... The thing I like to do is arrange the songs so the CD as a whole sort of tells a story -- so the songs progress from one vibe to another and they build on each other. Sorry if that doesn't make sense...

use songs you and she both listen to and love. also, the friends theme song is always nice. i will look for recordings of Phi Mu songs, although i'm not sure there are any out there.

My fresh year a few girls on my dorm floor put together a cd of all the songs of "freshman year" ... songs we listened to before we went out, songs from movies that we all saw together, etc. It was one of the best presents I've ever gotten.

well, what kind of music does she like? I'm making a CD for my little sister and this is some of the stuff I'm putting on it:

Def Leppard: Pour Some sugar on me (classic bar song)
J. Lo: Ain't it funny
Wyclef Jean: Stripper song
Prince: Kiss
Christina Aguilera: Dirty
Britney: boys
Moby and Gwen Stefani: South Side
112: Dance with me
Bon Jovi: Livin on a prayer
odb: baby I got your money
Poison: talk dirty to me

Even if you don't have a lot of songs that mean something to you guys, you can't go wrong with fun songs that you hear at the bar and at parties and stuff.
