Officials at California State University-Chico have suspended IFC recruitment for this spring. This is in an effort to curb hazing and other RMF issues.

I've seen this happen a few times (and again justifiably, especially if there were recent hazing incidents) but shouldn't only affect the chapters who are in trouble and not the ones in good standing? I've seen this cause orgs to close.

Matt Carrington died in a local fraternity at this school:

“Was a chapter of XYZ organization until…college administrators stripped the house charter. That’s how this place became Chi Tau. It wasn’t a proper fraternity, no national affiliation, it was just a name they took”
