One thing that my sorority did that was always fun was an indoor scavenger hunt. It really wasn't a scavenger hunt at all, though. Basically what we did was split up into teams and everyone had fifteen minutes to find the person in their group that best represented some listed items. The items were in three categories: family, physical attributes, and miscellaneous. Then after the 15 minutes we would go through each item and the groups would send up their reps for that category. A panel of judges would decide who won each time, and the points would go to their team.
Some examples of items on the list are: most siblings, best name for a pet, craziest family story, longest arms, cutest dimples, most flexible, best person trick, best whistler of Andy Griffith tune, most interesting thing in pockets, etc.
I still have the list if you are interested. Maybe this is something a lot of GLOs already do, I don't know. But I do know that some of the funniest memories I have from my sorority involve stories that came out of this, and I know of a few new members that were extremely memorable (in a good way) because of things they said or did, and it certainly helped them to get bids.
Sorry this was so long!

Just let me know and I will email you the list if you are interested!
