Randomness is GREAT!

Sorry everyone, I usually post on a daily basis and have been SWAMPED this week.

I am at home for the summer to work and do my internship. Mon- Thurs I do road construction and put in my 40 hours. Then the weekends I work on internship stuff with my local Ag society. Besides these two things I decided to redo my bedroom and just realized I hadn't popped into gc in a few days.

What have you all been up to? Have something special to share? Good news? Bad news? etc....

I too realize that I've been absent from GC lately. So now that I have some down time at work...I think I'll post.

Here's my randomness for the day:

It's Friday...that means I have the entire weekend to relax and see my family!!! I'm finally moved into my apt and it's great. I love the feeling of being on my own for really the first time. OH...and last but certainly not least. I want to thank Allie for all of her enthusiasm. Hun...I can't tell you how much you've been an asset to our little message board here on GC. It's really cool to see someone who's so fired up about Sigma Alpha. Thanks for being such a great sister!!!!

Awwww! You are really too sweet! I just hope everyone else is excited about Sigma Alpha as I am (or at least a little bit) LOL

I hope I get the chance to go to national convention to get new ideas as well as share them too! It would be AWESOME to meet some of you all and put faces with the people I chat with!

Hey ladies-

I can't wait until the day is over. I still have some extra work to get done tomorrow, but I'm planning on going canoe-ing on Sunday. It's going to be a beautiful, hot and humid weekend here in Wisconsin. I think summer has definitely arrived.

Great job with the posts ladies!! Keep up the good work, Allie and Allison. I hope to meet you both at Convention.

Here at Cornell University, there is an organization called Greeks United Against Homophobia (http://www.rso.cornell.edu/greeks_united/), and I've been informally asked to serve on next year's board, because there isn't anyone representing professional fraternities yet.

Hey Robin,

I feel the weather with you, Hot humid and in the 90's! I woke up to a down pour at 6 am... So sitting all day and doing paper work for my internship seems not so exciting for a Saturday. Being out and about on the river sounds a lot better!

Although tomorrow I'm going to get material to make a sundress for a sisters wedding. It should be interesting since I don't know how to sew LOL I should say it right now...thank God for grandmas who know how to do everything LOL
