Can someone clear this up for me?

Hi all! I have a question that I am hoping you guys can answer. I am considering rushing in the fall, but I will not be a freshman, I will be a junior. I rushed last year, but was cut from all but one of the sororities rush parties on the second to last day of parties. At this point, I was not really interested in continuing rush, and I dropped out. I have thought about rushing again next fall, but have wondered if there are any rules that state if you have been cut from a particular sorority during rush that you can never become a member of that sorority ever, even you go through rush the next year. I did not know what Panhellenic rules there were (if any) on this sort of thing, and was just wondering if there is any way to find out if the specific sororities on my campus would have a such a rule. How would one go about finding this out? I would hate to waste my time in rush if it is not going to get me anywhere. Let me know your opinions.
