One of the only country songs that I like is "The Bluest Eyes in Texas"-I can't remember who sings this though I have the C/D somewhere around here-maybe someone else remembers.

My current favorite is Good Morning Beautiful. I have tons of songs so if you need any more ideas send me a PM. Are you looking for more new country music or more old-school?

It wasn't originally country, but Sara Evans version of "Could Not Ask For More" is good.

A personal old favorite of mine is Travis Tritt "T-R-O-U-B-L-E"

I am not a fan of country music, but I have to say, I love Marty Robbins. El Paso, A White Sport Coat and a Pink Carnation and Big Iron are classics.

I'd have to say "your cheatin heart" by Hank Williams. Or...the one by Charlie Daniels thats like "sitin on a barstool" I think thats the name of it. Or...The Dance by Garth Brooks. Or..Song of The South. Or Friends in Low Places. Or High Cotton. Those are the only country songs that i'm familar with.

DZRose-I LOOOOVE You Never Even Call Me By My Name!!! AKA(The Perfect Country Western Song)

"I was drunk the day my Mom got out of prison. So I went to pick her up in the rain. But before I could get to the station in my pickup truck, she got run over by a damned old train..."

As far as a tape, it all depends if you want current or classic.
Classic, we can't forget
"Proud to be an Okie from Muskogee" "Friends in Low Places"
"All My Rowdy Friends"
Some female
Stand By Your Man, Crazy, Dolly Partin anything

Now, you KNOW there is a distinction between Country and Western, Country Western, Progressive Country and Country Rock!!!
Take this from someone who has performed everywhere from Houston Opry House to dives in Hattisburg Miss... Believe me, I've learned!
