Fun Boy News!!!

ok, so since a lot of the time we get on here and go off about how boys are dumb and we always get involved with the completely wrong ones...i thought i would share my unexpected bliss in a boy i am diggin' on right now:

-sigh-

it's all gravy, ladies...this is a boy who i've known for a lil' over a year, and we have always been flirty and stuff...so a crush from last year has now resurfaced itself. and since my roomie is his adopted lil sis, i get the automatic hook-up. woohah! she told him ever so subtly (like, seriously, she done good)

that she thought i was crushin' on him, and then she told me that he was yay about it, saying i am pretty and all the good stuff a boy should say...and now a few days later, we are talking and hanging out, and being all shmoopie and stuff. i am LOVING this, girls!!!!! i am used to those boys who are mean and completely UN-shmoopie...and this boy is wonderfully nice and sweet and all those things you think guys aren't made of anymore. and we just have fun and it's one of those things where the he can just look at you and you feel like the most beautiful person ever created. ya know? so...congratulate sarah on hookin a sister up with a great, wonderful guy. i am all too excited about this one!

The beginning butterflies are always so much fun, definitely enjoy them! But you know what? The butterflies don't go away with those "shmoopie" guys. Trust me, a year and a half later & I still get them with mine!

Congrats again & keep us posted with how the romance develops!

ok, so all of 5.2 seconds go by and i am already getting weirded out.

let me first just say that i am used to exactly the opposite of what this guy is. i mean, the last idiot i dated threw a trash can lid at my head for Emily Helen Butterfield's sake...-sigh- but...the thing is that i am used to that...i know how to deal with that situation in my life b/c it's "normal"...this nice-guy thing, totally and serisouly makes me unbelievably nervous and i'm juuuuuuust liiiiiiike, "oh, God-" and i don't know what to do. i don't want to wig out or anything and just blow this b/c he really is super wonderful...but at the same time i don't know how much of a !!!!!!!serious!!!!!!!! relationship i can handle right now b/c if you have read anything about that air force boy

, you should realize my trauma right now. <grumble> this really is ridiculous, i know...but if anyone has any encouraging words about being in drama-filled relationships and then how to cope with finally being in one that is healthy and normal, i would really appreciate it. he just makes me nervous being so un-mean.

Rule #1. Take a BIG DEPTH BREATH and LET IT OUT!

Rule #2: You're a wonderful person!!! (You have to be, your're an AGD!)

He has obviously seen something in you that he would like to get to know better. Just try to take things a little easy because we don't want him wigged out b/c you came on too strong.

Rule #3: Have fun...for as long as it last..according to YOUR schedule!

seriously, i think the last thing i am doing is coming on too strong...don't get me wrong, we both get shmoopie, but at the same time, sometimes he'll be all kissie and i'm like, "nah"...but i will def. remember to breathe b/c i think that is the main issue. i'm actually at his house right now and he's 3 ft. away, so this is short...but ya know.

Oooooooooooo-kaaaaaaaaaaay!
So, this lil' situation is going just fabulously! I have calmed down a lot thanks to the assistance of pledge4life (i love my lil!), and am just taking in the fun, nice, sweet nature of this boy. He makes me less nervous as the days go by, and I came home for the weekend and am actually missing his presence. wow. i am just reeeeally starting to like this one...we've been dating for about 4 wks now...he's let the "girlfriend" word rip a few times and I am slowly getting used to the thought of that...yeah. I like this one!!!! woohoo!
