Such as????

They were expecting about 1000 to go through the process. Not as large as some recruitments, but percentage wise it has to be up there. There are typically only about 1800 in the entire freshmen class- including the males. Very few get dropped completely from the process, but girls continue to drop out when their favorites cut them. Last year there were also quite a few that didn't list all their pref chapters on their MRABA and wound up with no bid.

I have 3 rec girls going through this year. I heard from one of them today. She experienced some harsh cuts- returning to only 5 out of a possible 9. However, the initial disappointment gave way to optimism that her true home would be in one of those 5 groups.

The Greek system there is strong and hopefully will open for expansion again in a few years. Quota is typically in the high 60s.

Pref should be finishing up in about an hour. The PNMs could visit up to 3 houses but there were 6 party slots so a long day for the sorority members.

Two of my recs girls attended pref at my chapter. I'm anxious to see how that plays out. I would be beyond thrilled to call either of them sister. It's even more special when it is your own college chapter.

The other rec girl, the one with 5 invites for Round 2, had a full schedule for Pref including her legacy chapter. I am so happy for her.
