Konklave 2011 100 Years of Achievement...Did you go?

If there are any Nupes lurking, did you go to the Klave? Where did you stay? I did, and I had a blast!

Unfortunately I was unable to make it..I was traveling for work but I met a brother in the Houston airport from LA Alumni and we were heading the same direction that was able to make it. He mentioned the trip to Alpha khapter and showed me all the piks at the house. I almost kried knowing I missed all of that and seeing all the Nupes gathered out front. He stayed at the Marriott and took a bunch of piks of the street signs in the area with the name changed to KAPsi. How was your experience?

Sorry you couldn't make it, Phi. I didn't go to the campus, I just hung out downtown Indianapolis with my sands and some of the my chapter brothers. Yeah, they replaced the street signs with our Founders and KAPsi. I had a great time. I stayed at the Fairfield right next to JW and across the street from the convention center where they were selling nalia. I also met Thelma from Good Times. She was doing a book signing. I wish you could have made it Nupe, I was looking forward to meeting some Nupes from GC.

I went and the experience was like no other. Met NUPES from all over the US. Stayed in the JW, toured IU, took pics in front of the Bloomington sign, met some "Hollywood NUPES" (Ced, Finesse, Bishop Jamal, etc). This is experience was extra special for me because all the NUPES in my fam (except my younger brother) made the trip to Indy. I'm sure my bro will make the trip in 2 yrs to Houston but it still won't be anything like the experience 2 weeks ago. Being able to walk in the same footsteps of our founders still brings me to tears. Here's to 100 more NUPES. Yo!!!
