They needed Jo
It was a little less than OK. I kept flippin' back and forth between TVLand and that.
What happened when Blair and them went to "catch" her husband? I missed that part. Was he cheating?

I missed a few things
Blaire's husband was not cheating. He was volunteering in a children's shelter because he thought Blaire did not want kids.
How did Tootie's husband die?
Why was Joe not there?
Do you know any men who would have a competition with your other lover for your heart? It was cute, but come on.
When I was younger, I thought that the show dealt with real issues. The reunion was so unrealistic. Everything worked out for everyone. It was OK. I looked forward to it for two weeks and was a little disappointed.

And was Tootie's husband Jeff??? Cuz she said they had been together since she was 16. But, um, I watched the episode (right before the reunion came on) where her and Jeff broke up. I'm not sure what that was about. And yeah, how DID he die???
You're so right, it was SO unrealistic!! I was disappointed, totally. When did Natalie have so many men anyway??? She was never all like that in the show.

Did anyone get the feeling that they are going to bring the series back, with, Tootoe's and Joe's daughters going to Eastland.

I also thought that they would show in the movie Tootie's daughter telling Jo's daughter that she was going to Eastland, and then, Jo's daughter would ask her father if she could go, too, and he would say yes, and they would be all giggly with laughter. Didn't happen. Did you think that would happen?
Do you think there was a romantic connection with Robert (natalie's loser beau) and Tootie at the end, or when she was giving him the tour? I kinda did.

Ok why was I looking forward to see this show, and why was I totally disappointed. I didn't start looking at it until about 7:30 because I forgot it was coming on at 7pm. Since I missed a lot of it, and then I turned at 8pm because it was so boring. Did they ever say why Jo was not there, or did she turn up later on in the show? The little bit I did see was not an attention getter. I turned to the Steve Harvey show at 8pm and then I turned to see the encore presentation of the new Justice League on the cartoon network, that's how into this reunion episode I was. I give it a thumbs down.
Getting off the topice for a minute....did anyone catch the Mary J Blige story on VH-1? Even though I have seen tons of stuff on her this year about her comeback from drugs and getting her life together, I thought the VH-1 show was good.

I thought the same thing, especially when she was giving him the tour. I was wondering if I was the only one that picked up on that.

I was wondering if they mentioned what happened to Jo as well.
Why wasn't she there? If Mrs. Garrett's old a$$ could muster up the strength to do this (wasn't she like 70 when the show was originally on the air? ), I should think Jo could too. What was up with Tootie's....I mean Dorothy's wigs? She had way too much makeup on too. Was it just me or does Blair look like she hasn't aged in 20 years? Did y'all notice the license plates on Blair's limo? (Blair Witch)...How corny.
And if she married a man who has the same last name as her..wouldn't she just be Blair Warner...and not Blair Warner-Warner as she kept referring to herself?
.....Two men (one very well off, the other handsome) fighting over NATALIE ?!?
Yeah...ok, we really believe that one.

Her real name was Dorothy Ramsey...I don't know if there were ever an episode in which they told us where the nickname "Tootie" came from.

I'm sorry... who would be fighting over natalie ... HER! Be real folks! My friends were complaining all night about the lack of charactor development for tootie... Blair strikes me as being pc and it doesn't surprise me that she would attempt to keep her last name. Blair looks like she has aged 20+ years... time has not treated her well, she's OK. The excuse for Jo not being there was that she was working in Los Angeles... The real reason for her not being there was that Nancy McKeon (sp?) turned down the chance to do the movie. That is the last time we will ever see Ms. Garrett ... Yeah the movie was too cutsey... but that's the way I like it
