Girls that give your sorority a bad name?
Hi everyone, I'm new here but I have been reading for a while. I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with girls in their chapter who give the sorority a bad name. I have seen a few in mine.

Pretty sure Tri Delta has a standards board of some sort...

If you have a concern that there are sisters who are behaving inappropriately and are giving Tri Delta a bad name then you should be speaking with your chapter advisers and standards committee.

I hate it when my sisters come online and air their dirty laundry in a public forum. It's detrimental to our reputation.

Well, my first thought was that this is a troll. The TriDelt is a bit too prominently used for someone who is concerned about reputations.
That said, I answered it factually for any real Tri Deltas who might be reading here.

I'm just being a smarty pants - your answer is a good one.

That's okay. One of my friends in college was a Sigma Kappa and she was a smarty pants too. Must run in the "family".

It may or may not be part of our membership requirements. Can't say. It's ritual

I remember after my first quarter of college running into a friend who I hadn't seen since high school graduation and telling her I'd just initiated into a sorority. She said, "Aw, I didn't know they had a special sorority for smart @$$es!"
True story.

Shit, you mean someone figured out that Sigma Kappa stands for Smart Keister?
(Sigma Alpha would have been too obvious, and was needed about 100 years later.)

I was thinking more along the lines of
Sar Kastic.
But there are regional variances.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I was under the impression that members of Delta Delta Delta do not like to be called Tri Delt - the preferred nickname is Tri Delta.

You are correct. What is even more wrong is when people put a hyphen in it like Tri-Delt.
Tri Delta
Delta Delta Delta
Yes, it is a personal pet peeve of mine.
