Alpha Xi Delta to Partner With AllOne Health....

Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity has partnered with AllOne Health to provide Talk One-2-One, a confidential counseling service provider, to its collegiate members. Members can use Talk One-2-One confidentially and free of charge to discuss issues such as depression, roommate issues, eating disorders, stress, money issues and alcohol/drug issues.

Alpha Xi Delta decided to partner with AllOne Health due to the staggering statistics related to collegians. According to The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University, 45% of students have felt so depressed they found it difficult to function.

With this partnership, Alpha Xi Delta's collegiate members, advisors, Fraternity volunteers, and members' parents, can call the Talk One-2-One 1-800 number, day or night, and speak to a professionally-trained counselor to tackle problems through support, advocacy, and empowerment.

“This partnership with AllOne Health is a proactive approach to ensure our members have the resources to realize their potential, and to support the Fraternity’s mission to enrich the life of every Alpha Xi Delta,” said Deanna Detchemendy, Alpha Xi Delta’s National President. “It’s evident collegians today face more pressure than ever, and we look forward to fostering our partnership with AllOne Health to provide a rich, rewarding and healthy college experience for every Alpha Xi Delta.
