The other night the Phi Mu house at FSU suffered a pretty bad house fire

Luckily all the sisters made it out safely

The attic and the third floor are gone and the second floor is most likely going to have to be torn down due to extensive smoke and water damage. The house will be closed for repairs until next fall and currently the House Corporation is looking for alternative housing for the sisters. The cause of the fire was electrical...inside the wall of the 2nd floor bathroom...and it sparked throughout the house.
The morale of the girls seems high despite the adversity placed upon them, and the 43 girls who lived there would like to find housing in the same area (apt. complex, etc.) The Greek community at FSU has been extremely supportive, and our neighbors, AEII, have temporarily taken in the girls who lived in the house and they are treating them like princesses. I worry about how everyone is going to be able to function (with there being no central place for 120+ girls to meet now) but hopefully it will bring everyone together closer together.
Please keep my sisters in your prayers... and any advice you could possibly think of would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much
Melissa
