There's some sketchy info about this school, both online and in KD's history books. ???

KCW became the "Women's Campus" of Centre in 1930 and formally merged in 1962 with Centre.

I know this is something for the trivia thread - but I thought it was cool to share anyway! From the Tri Delta page (p419):
The Miami chapter was formed from a local called Phi Tau, which had absorbed a local, Delta Zeta. Latee Delta Zeta was revitalized and became a national sorority; hence members of the old Delta Zeta, alumnae of Phi Tau, are alumnae members both of Delta Zeta and Delta Delta Delta.
Just one of the many pieces of sorority/fraternity history that I find fascinating!

And I read further on page 427 (DZ section) that the chapter was originally founded in 1902 but was inactive from 1904-08, being reorganized in 1908 when the Cornell chapter was founded.

Kappa Delta's Kappa chapter is at the Women's College of Alabama. It was installed in January of 1913 and closed later that year when the college abolished sororities.

I do think this is one of the most amazing coincidences that all three of these chapters are named Kappa and are at the same school AND are still active!

Why are you asking for advice on this thread?
A lot depends on your school.
Hopefully, since you are at a school with deferred recruitment, you have spent time meeting sorority women during fall term and carried yourself in an appropriate matter. Also, hopefully your first semester GPA is shaping up to be good.
If you do not have recommendations for the sororities at your campus, I would advise getting some.

<hijack>
I was going through my school's NPC page, and although I knew we had a lot of single letter chapters, I didn't realize it was THAT many.
</hijack>
To put the thread back on track, we're at lambda chapters now, right?
