I have to say you are so right on this. My mom used to work in some housing projects in Dallas. She knew quite a few women living there who would have more children ON PURPOSE just so that she could get more welfare money.
That is serously exploiting the system and I personally find it morally wrong.
Yes, there are people out there who are genuinely trying to improve their sitaution, and working their asses off to do it. I commend those people! But there seem to be a larger number of people who would rather just mooch off the government and the taxpayers of the country.
I am very sorry, but I do not want to work my butt off only to have to give money that is going to help that lady who won't get off her ass and get a job.

Yeah.... it took a LONG time.
I don't really have a comment on the whole fat women and being christain idea. How the Hell do I know?
But as far as all of the churchy stuff.... I wasn't planning on commenting since the thread had pretty much changed direction. But what the Hell? I will just say that I believe in God, but I do not believe in organized religion. If I DO happen to go to church, I would rather go to a small one. I refuse to go to those big huge churches. I do not tithe money to any church. I do not find it necessary to do that. I think it is about a personal feeling, and a personal faith, not about going to church.
Oh, and I was raised Catholic.

Gluttony and Sloth? Are they mortal sins in all Christian sects?
I have been guilty of both . . especially sloth. In fact I have master sloth, if there was an advance degree I would have it. I mean that independant of any weight issues.
Although, i don't proffess to much follow the tenets of religious belief systems.

I think texas and florida are the only two southern states that have huge catholic populations. Between the two of us we'd give the priest a heartattack come confession time.

I'd tell every nasty little thing I've ever done just to let him know what he missed out on not going to college.
