I think that Laci and Scott got in an argument, and he hit her in the head with a heavy or sharp object, leaving her to. Then he realized what he did, and to try and get away from it all he went "fishing" on Christmas Eve. He thought that he could get away with it, too bad he's not!!!!

I tried to give him the benefit but his actions bring up suspicions

I agree his actions are suspicious... like when they got him he had a WHOLE LOT OF $$$$ and he had bleached hair (trying to change his image?!) and I remember hearing some think he was headed to Mexico.

Giving that lady $500,000 to pose is so ridiculous (esp. like someone already pointed out she's pretty much being rewarded for being a homewrecker).. the fact that guys would even *want* to see her nude in Playboy is also ridiculous...

Okay, I think Scot Peterson should be hung by the nuts, but...

My understanding is that Amber Frey had no idea that he was married until after Laci disappeared/was killed. She made some bad choices, but dating a married man seems not to be a conscious choice, IMHO.

Also, if she posed nude for Playboy, and got one of the bigger spreads, I think $500,000 is the going price. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the rate for a cover shot.

Laci's head & legs could have been weighted down and the natural decomposition of her body caused the torso to rise, according to ME Dr. Cyril Wecht.

I'm SOOOO glad that SP is being charged with a double homicide!! A man who could kill his wife is bad; one that kills his child, too, should never enjoy any rights of freedom. There's a special ring in hell for people like that!

That said, however, I'm very much against the death penalty. If he's guilty, I'm all for locking him up in a very small cell-- possibly in Antarctica-- with nothing to do but think about what he's done. However, I will be sad if he does get a death sentence.

The scary thing is that this isn't as rare as we'd like to think. An acquaintence of mine was attacked by her boyfriend last month. He stabbed her sixteen times in the abdomen because he thought she was pregnant with someone else's child (she wasn't pregnant at all). She lost a lot of blood, but the doctors were able to repair the damage and physically she's okay now.

People are just unstable!

I posted this before but I want you guys to read it if you haven't. Apprently 20% of pregnant women who die during pregnancy are murdered. The most dangerous time for a woman is in her 8th month.

There is a similar case of a pregnant woman who disappeared a few months before college graduation. They suspect that it is the married father of her baby. She has been missing for years now.
