Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward Ca.
We were green and gold (or white really cuz all the athletic uniforms were green and white.)
Mascot: The mariner. It was actually a really big pirates of the caribbean-esque ship. We had an on going joke with it though. Castro Valley, a rival h.s, was the trojans. So everytime we played a game against each other in whatever sport, it would be the trojans vs the seamen. and the trojans usually won.
I graduated 1999 with about 280 some odd others. There were only 1200 students at most at the school.

I'm not sure... I do know that Valencia (the city) is the home to the filming of many, many television shows including JAG, The Secret World of Alex Mack and the old television show version of "clueless." Valencia High was the filming site for part of Pleasantville, Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, Nike commercials and was the school in "Alex Mack" (My cheer squad actually appeared in the background for Alex Mack and part of a old Nike commercial that only aired a few times.)

Bryant High School
Colors were Blue and White when I was a student. My senior year I noticed that the football jerseys had a red outline around the numbers. The next year I noticed some red accents in the cheerleading uniforms. Now everything is blue and white and red. I don't know if they've "officially" changed the colors or not, but the really didn't have to add the red. Blue and White was just fine, thank you very much!
Mascot: The Hornets!
I graduated in 1993 with 346 "ish".

North Miami Senior High School, North Miami, Florida.

Mascot: Pioneers
Colors: Green and Gray

I graduated in the Class of 1983, with approximately 600 in my graduating class.

Famous alumni:

Bill Conti ('59) - Oscar-winning film music composer; he's famous for Gonna Fly Now the theme from Rocky. (More trivia: he was the first Silver Knight award winner in music. (The Silver Knight is the highest academic achievement award in South Florida.)

Fred Francis ('62) - senior correspondent for NBC News.

Steve Carlton ('63) - Former pitcher (aka 'Lefty') for the Philadelphia Phillies, inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Jeff Zucker ('82) - President of NBC Entertainment. Ya don't like the fall line up on 'Must See TV'? Call him and complain!

Balboa HS, San Francisco CA
Colors: Orange & Navy Blue
Nickname: Buccaneers
Graduating class: Three hundred something, Class of 85

School Hymn
We're loyal all and ever true,
A pledge of faith we give to you.
We follow where our colors lead,
Our orange and our blue.
Balboa loved by everyone,
Where echos ring of deed well done.
Deep loyaty for ever prevail,
All hail, Balboa
Hail!

2nd verse only sung @ graduation
We sing a fond farwell to you,
And though we part we're ever true,
As years go by we'll ever hold,
Sweet memories of old,
Balboa loved by everyone,
Where echos ring of deed well done.
Deep loyaty for ever prevail,
All hail, Balboa
Hail!

Fight Song (sung to the tune of the Notre Dame Victory March)
Fight! Fight!
For Balboa High!
Carry her laurels up to the sky!
Buccaneers will win today,
We'll fight em'!
We'll beat em'!
The same old way.
Let's wave our banner orange and blue,
To alma mater we'll prove we're true.
Buccaneers are always best,
The pride of the GOLDEN WEST!

ETA:
I remember the majority of the songs and stuff because I was in the band, I was a pep girl (cheerleader), track & x-country teams, and numerous other school spirit stuff. Although I'm not as active as I would like to be, I am a member of our alumni association.

Senior song
We are the seniors, the high and mighty seniors
The seniors of Balboa High!
We stick together through all kinds of weather,
The seniors of Balboa High!
Shoulder to shoulder, and boulder to boulder,
friends we will be till' we die.
On, the good ship Galleon, we've steered our course so true,
Onward we're inspired, by our colors,
Orange and Blue!

I went to Annandale High School in Annandale, VA. We were the Atoms.....go ahead and laugh because I think it's a retarded mascot. Anyway, there were about 500 in my graduating class....the class of 2000!!!!! Our colors were red and white.

We do have a famous person that went to our school right around the time it opened (circa 1960)....Mark Hammil went there but moved before he graduated. you know....Luke Skywalker...? I'm sure there's more, I jsut don't know who they are.

GWA

Jeni!! I can't believe you went to GWA!! It's in my hometown! I actually remember the year it was created!!! I pass by the back, by the baseball fields on my way to my bro's house.

I didn't know that Kyle went there!!

I went to good ole Monroe Area Comphrehensive High School, Home of the Purple Hurricanes. My graduating class was the 1st to be racially integrated for 4 years (although I think it was actually 5 or 6). I also there when they added the Comp. part..actually, they added another wing and more classes, lol.

Colors: Purple and White although for an extremely short while, it was Purple and Gold.

Graduating class: Betweeen 100-150, I think...so long ago.

LOL! My evil ex went to MACHS, but so did a number of people I hung out with in high school. I graduated in 1997 with people and new a few of the Cash kids and one of my best friends was K. Hodges. I won't call out her full name. Very cool AGDLynn!

I find it frightening that many younger people in the city say that Thugz Nation and 50/50 Boyz are their claim to fame!!! Lord, help us all!!!!
