Congrats on your son being a KA.
The UT Sorority information has been scarce. Has anybody heard how things went? Bids went out today.

Welcome, welcome back! You were definitely missed during your "sabbatical" from GreekChat. As much as we are thrilled that you are back with us... you omitted one detail regarding your youngest son. Omicron is a super, super chapter of Kappa Alpha Order, just absolutely excellent. But I distinctly remember that your middle son was also a member of the Texas chapter (Omicron) of Kappa Alpha Order as well. So, it appears that you are now the proud mother of double brothers! That makes a great rush... even greater!
We are so pleased for you and for both of your Kappa Alpha Order sons! What a truly wonderful fraternity and an excellent chapter. Looks like 4 more years of activities in Austin... not a bad place at all!
Congratulations! I am positively thrilled for you and I am postively thrilled for both of your KA sons! I am certain that your middle son, the first KA, is extremely pleased with the choice of his fraternity by his younger brother. Excellent choice!

My friend's little sister is going through recruitment at Texas Tech University. She is a legacy to one of the chapters(her sister)
I also have my cousin who is interested in going through recruitment at Temple University. Will she need recs? I am not aware of Temple's greek system, but it seems as if they are not as competitive as others(a commuter school like UH).I would appreciate some input on this matter. Thanks!

Thanks so much for the welcome back!! Yes, my middle son is a senior KA, and has now welcomed his little brother as his "brother"! I've gotten to know the young men of Omicron and I couldn't be happier that my youngest will now be a part of such a great chapter!
And, since I know all the seniors living in the house - I've entrusted them to make sure that my baby doesn't flunk out!! (Just kidding guys, but maybe only kind of )

My daughter pledged Theta, like her sister and grandma and aunt! She is quite happy! One of her classmates from home pledged as well and another went G Phi.

Info is starting to leak out.
Of my UT girls, 2 pledged Chi O, 2 pledged Kappa and 1 pledged Theta.
Why do I even waste my time writing those pi phi recs??
I'm so happy for everybody! It's going to be a great year!!
