OK--I just had to let everybody know!!! Everybody knows how much I love Dave. Well he's coming to New Orleans to perform at Jazz Fest. I've had my heart set on seeing him...I just haven't gotten my ticket yet. Well I just talked to my friend Erin(a fellow Dave lover) and she told me that she bought me a ticket so that we could go down to NOLA and see him together!!!!! I almost cried I was so excited!!! OK--I'm gonna stop rambling now!!!!!!! I'm in such a good mood!!!! One month and I'll be seeing DAVE!!!!!!!

They're AMAZING. Way more Dave than 'everyday'. GET THEM!!! Go to nancies.org and it will tell you there where you can download them. I think the files have to converted to mp3s tho, and I have no idea how the guy from work did it for me. But wow. WOW . There are a few songs on the disk I don't love, but mostly, they are incredible. They are a tad depressing tho. You can sense that he was in a funk. When you listen to them one after the other, if you're in an okay mood, you'll be sad, and if you're sad at all before you listen to it, you'll be crying after listening to it. But i wouldn't trade having these 12 songs for the world!

Maybe, if you guys can't get them, we could hook it up so that I burn them for you...?
Any DMB fan must have them. The band jams out in the songs like only the DMBand can do. Just amazing.... K, i'll stop now.

Glad you like them. My least favorite song is Raven. That is so sweet of you to make copies for the rest of us. There are a few songs that I don't have. I'm going to see if I can get a friend here to burn them for me. If I can't,them I'll send you an email

I had to bump this thread back up to the top because the long awaited tour is about to start!

So, here's my question. Who is going to what show when and where? And, is there any fun little story behind how you scored your tickets??

My situation is really annoying. The first leg of the tour was announced and there was no Toronto date posted. There was a show in buffalo however, which is only 2 hours from here. So, a person who shall remain nameless (AMYCAT) said she had it on good authority that a toronto date would most likely be added, and that second leg of the tour would be announced just before the first leg went on sale. Well the on-sale date came and no second leg had been announced. So, I ended up getting tix for the buffalo show. My two tickets came to NINETY bux Canadian, each!!!. add to that the fact that we are on the opposite side of the huge football arena from where dave will be, and you'll understand my frustration .

2 days later, after i bought the tix, A toronto date was added. . i was gonna go to that show too(ideally get decent seats given how cruddy my buffalo tix are) but of course, out of EVERY day on the calendar, the show is the day after my brother's wedding, when all my family will still be here. so i can't go .

So, I'm going to the show, in buffalo, at ralph wilson stadium on wednesday, june 20th. I just better remember to bring my binoculars!

Hey Leslie,

I was just thinking about you. Hadn't seen you on here to much so I was wondering how you were doing.

I'm going to Jazz Fest to see our husband. I got my ticket las weekend. I was doing to go thur ticketmaster,but ticketmaster doesn't deliver to p.o. boxes. I didn't want to take the chance of having the ticket delivered to my house (mail mysteriously disappears there)
So I went to my favorite record store to see if they were an Ticketmaster outlet. Sadly they are not,but the nice clerk directed me to the place where he always gets his tickets. So I went there and I have my ticket.

I want to go to the May 11th show in Houston,but that's kind of streching it(it's the week of finals). So I'm going to skip that show and get tickets for the July 15 show in Dallas(it's two days after my birthday)

May 5th can't get here fast enough

Yah, I've been kinda quiet lately. I've been around. I check GC a million times a day. I just haven't had much to say! i can feel the shock you all must have reading that. I usually always have something to say! Just been a slow month I guess. But there's always something to say about dave! lol.

I can't wait. even though he'll be the size of an ant, and i won't be able to really hear him. But, yah...I'm trying to be optimistic here. I can't go to jazzfest . it's a little bit too far for me.

I am going to the Los Angeles show on May 22-- I got those tickets thru my 'connection' at Creative Artists Agency.

I am also going to the May 26 and 27 shows in Las Vegas and I got those tickets thru the warehouse!

I can't wait!!!!!

One week and One Day to the first of my three concerts!!! Caught the video for "Space Between" this morning while I was getting ready for work.

And...I read in Entertainment Weekly this weekend that Ashley is pregnant with Twins and expecting in September. Wow. I cannot imagine trying to juggle twins, medical school, and a rock star husband! I hope she's sleeping a lot now, cause sound like she won't be getting any come September!

Twins??!!! Awww,say it ain't so. I'm trying very hard to be happy for her. BUT IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!!(end of rant)

I finally got to see the new video today to. It's ok. The song is starting to grow on me now. Amy, I hope you have a great time at your shows next week. Can't wait to hear the updates. I'm going to be MIA on GC starting Sunday because I'm going to Dallas. I'll should be back on like Thursday or Friday.

My brother just called me.
He got a call from the Warehouse and he was one of 5 Las Vegas members chosen out of a hat to attend an ACOUSTIC SHOW WITH DAVE ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON BEFORE THE CONCERT AT THIS LITTLE JAZZ CLUB IN VEGAS. DAVE, HIS GUITAR, ME AND MY BROTHER AND 48 OTHER PEOPLE.
