OH HOLY EYEBROWS, SYLAR!

I have lots of questions as well...

What exactly was Sylar's 1st power-was it just being able to see/hear what is wrong with something and it grew from there?

I am curious to see how exactly Sylar gains the power after killing them...does he get the power just by touching their brain? And does this mean that his ability and Peter's are similiar in some ways? Just that Peter does not need to kill to absorb a power?

I guess Eden was successful in getting at least Claire's pic off the Dr. Suresh's list since Sylar killed the wrong cheerleader. Eden has the power of getting whatever she wants?

What did Niki/Jessica's dad do to them that was so horrible?

I enjoyed the Hiro/Charlie storyline. How cute he fell in love! Aishiteru!

Which hero do you think they'll kill off before the hiatus?

I don't think he necessarily had a "power" like eveyone else. His wasn't as extraordinary as everyone else's. He basically could just hear/see stuff that's wrong.

I figured he touches them or he eats them. Ewww...
I don't think his & Peter's are the same b/c Peter's are temporary. Sylar seems to be able to keep them more long-term but it is too early to tell since we only just met him.

Yeah. She tells them to do something & they follow orders. Pretty cool power!

He beat Jessica to death. She told him that she took his beatings to protect Niki & one of those beatings killed her. The only reason she returned is b/c Niki needed her protection again.

I'm guessing Eden. If not, one of the minor Heroe's.

My hubby thinks it will be Isaac. I hope not, he's cute!
I'm hoping it will be Nathan, or maybe the black dude that follows Creepy Dad around.

I want it to be Nathen but it can't be because he wins the election, he is suck a jerk!

I think the mind reading cop is going to get killed off. His story line really hasn't been much of anything. I think he actually will kill himself.

I really like the 6 months ago episode. It really brought everything together but like OTW said I now have more questions.

I can't decide if Clair's Dad is good or evil. And what are they going to do with Sylar?

No. It's Jessica (her evil twin that takes over her body & personality) that's trying to kill DL. She feels that she's protecting Niki by doing this.

Regarding the symbol that resembles the RNA molecule...

Someone on another message board I frequent posted this after seeing it on Wikipedia:

Quote:
Appearing frequently throughout the series is a symbol which strongly resembles an RNA molecule. Said appearances include:

In a crime scene's swimming pool. Several flotation devices float in this shape.
Frequently on a computer screen, scrolling across a genetic profiling program created by Chandra Suresh.
On a drawing done by Peter Petrelli.
On paintings Isaac Mendez frequently makes.
On a post-it note on the map in Mohinder Suresh's apartment.
Written on a geometry textbook owned by Claire Bennet.
Written on pictures in Sylar's apartment.
On Niki's back whenever her alternate personality surfaces.
Engraved on the hilt of future Hiro's sword.
Printed on the front of Chandra Suresh's book, Activating Evolution.
Printed on the upper-left corner of the 14th issue of 9th Wonders! comic book, written by Isaac Mendez.
On a necklace worn by the Haitian.
On a picture of Niki painted by Isaac. The symbol was hidden under an extra layer of paint.
Drawn on a Greyhound bus sign, seen right before D.L. spots the runaway Micah in the episode Homecoming.
A second symbol, consisting of two parallel lines, has appeared on the necks of two super-powered characters immediately after being abducted by the Haitian:

Matt Parkman, the telepathic policeman from Los Angeles.
Ted Sprague, a character who possesses the ability to emit radiation.

Well...I'm surprised Eden was the one they killed off.
All in all, a good episode, but it sucks the show won't be back 'til January 22nd.
I'm sick of this TV winter break bullshit where shows are off for a month! Grrr...

my favorite character is the Haitian guy. Somehow I hope that he becomes the ultimate villain and takes over the world.

He spoke!!! Love the accent. But uh, he told Claire that its important that she remembers when her father wants him to brainwash her like the rest...that suggests to me that he's one of the good guys. I can honestly say that was the best part of the show last nite (along with peter petrelli blowing himself in the future). Another thing, who exactly does Claire's father work for? Whoever "they" are, they wanted to keep Sylar alive...but why?

It's a good thing that show is going on a hiatus because I have no business watching it for the next two weeks.

Haitian guy makes me happy. I was surprised that Claire's dad works for someone. I honestly thought he was the head honcho.

So did Sylar bust out of that place or did he just bust out of his cage but is still locked in the room?

man I really don't know what is going on in this show. I have probably watched 3 episodes sparatically. A friend of mine told me that they show reruns on the sci-fi channel, so I am definately going to catch up

You think Haitian guy is good? Isn't the poppa a good guy, and so since he asked Claire if she cuold keep a secret, then wouldn't he be going against the poppa? Thus making him bad?

I really hope he's a bad guy. I'd be so disappointed if he was a good guy. Infact, if he were to be the ultimate good guy then he would move down in my rankings.

The Congressman would definately be my fav.

I think so but it's still too early to tell. The fact that he wants Claire to remember what's happening is a good sign.

Papa Horn-rims is still 50/50 IMO. There are signs that he's a good guy since he's adamant about protecting Claire BUT that could all be a ruse. He might just be using her for some ultimate bad plan.

I have to agree with you. For me, Sylar is way too obvious of a bad guy. I like my villains to be more subtle. Papa is definitely a subtle guy.

Nathan Petrelli is something else. He's what I call a reluctant good guy. I think perhaps the show might go in the direction of the good Heroe's facing off against Nathan & Mr. Horn-rims. Then again, Papa did kidnap Nathan & Nathan escaped his clutches & knows what he looks like so Nathan is the wild-card.

Okay, now I'm wondering who Claire's dad is working for.

I've only seen the episode once, so I don't quite get Peter's dream...but I did notice that Ted (radioactive guy) and Sylar are nowhere to be seen. All the known heroes were shown running away from him, but Ted and Sylar weren't there. Perhaps Ted and Sylar have something to do with Destructive Peter?

We also didn't see who got shot for sure -- we just saw the gun pointing in the opposite direction and BANG! Blood. It'd be a trip if Eden really killed Sylar...absorbed his abilities and became the bad guy. Has Sylar ever used a gun on any of his victims or did he kill em all the same way?

I admit, Eden getting revenge for her neighbor's murder was a nice twist. However...I'm led to wonder what kind of relationship she had with Mohinder's dad. He probably found her the way he found the others, right? So what if Eden really wanted to kill Sylar because she knew she could probably get all the powers he got from the people he's killed so far?

So many damn questions!
