Some parts of the outfits had the sixers on it. It was like a compo. But the outfits were still ugly. They even said on ESPN that DC got booed.

I heard on the radio this morning that they were booed because of their outfits. The LA Lakers motif created by Mrs. Knowles did not sit well with the Philly fans. Her mother set them up and should have known better, plus the outfits were downright oooogly.

Disclaimer: Not hating on DC because I am a BIG fan, but when your outfits are tacky, then they just are.

She really did set them up. Philly is fighting for their lives with the Lakers on the verge of winning the whole thing. The last thing Sixers fans wanted to see was them in some Lakers gear. Even if it was only some of them. Plily fans do have strong opinions for sure and that was not going to fly.

Booed is pretty harsh. I turned them off and did not hear about it until this morning. Ouch!

I wonder how they handled that backstage?

This was the time you needed MTV following them around for the "Diary" show, instead of them back in H-town doing the rodeo.

Yeah, momma Knowles should have known better. ALL of them could have had on the NBA outfit. I bet she'll know better NEXT time.

Well I actually feel sorry for them. But what I don't get is my boyfriend said the crowd cheered or at least didn't boo after Survivor, then why would they boo after 'Bootylicious'? My boyfriend taped the game and since I feel asleep on it last night, I'm going to watch it again tonight and judge for myself. From what I've heard it doesn't sound to me like they were booing because of the Lakers outfit. Maybe they hated 'Bootylicious'. After all it's not like most people in the crowd are teeny-boppers.

Red face

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it....I turned to my husband last night after they performed and said Greek Chat would be all over this. I bet the outfits did cause all the problems. I notice Michelle is always in pants, that's what they all should of had on last night.

At first I thought it was a good idea they represented both teams....I guess Philly don't play that.

I didn't think Beyonce needed to represent two teams AND the National Basketball Association.

Too funny.

OH, durn...I thought it was because she had the best physique out of all of them...(HINT>>>better than Beyonce), of course they wouldn't want people to be drooling more over her than Queen B! (AND YES I AM HATIN...I had both of the first CDs, I really used to like them, but now I am so sick of those damn girls. The thing that bothers me the most is how hoochie-fied they are becoming, or maybe they always were and I just didn't notice.)

After it had snowed, the Philadelphia Eagles played a game at Vet Stadium. Santa Claus and his reindeer were on the field and the fans threw snowballs at him. I think this happenned during the 80's.

After this happenned, the snow is always removed before a game.

BTW, Philly is known for booing its sports teams. It's a love/hate relationship.

being from philly, i can tell you that philly fans are probably the toughest in the world. the reason why they booed was because of the lakers jerseys. although, destiny's child did not all come out there with lakers jerseys on, some people still took it as a slap in the face.
By half time, the sixers were down. and, right now, EVERYBODY in this town loves the sixers. so, for them to come out with the lakers' jerseys on, was just like a slap in the face to some of the fans.
also, when the background dancers had on the lakers outfits, they were singing a song saying 'i don't think you're ready' that made them even madder. some people read too much into the song and the outfit and just booed them.
personally, i laughed when they got booed. i haven't like destiny's child (a.k.a. Beyonce and them other two girls) for a long time. the sentiment is shared with a lot of people here. i think some booed just because they were tired of seeing them.

How about I am just glad the dancers stopped wearing those shiny white/silver suits?

My BF said the same thing like dang she need to put those braids in a ponytail...She even has her own website now www.solangesolostar.com

My lil sis can sing her butt off, I need to be like Matthew Knowles and start pimping her...

I was there and let me tell yall, it was off the hook. DC3 was booed becasue the crowd was not feeling them point blank. They lip-synced 1/4 of Survivor and all of Bootylicious and the dances were not even that intircate to warrant the voice
overs. And the girls did not even try to play it off by keeping the mikes to their mouths or mouthing the words. As for the outfits they were split 50/50 between Lakers and Sixers para. Kelly and the male
dancers reped Philly and Michelle and the female dancers reped the Lakers while Beyonce reped the NBA, Philly and L.A. but the outfits were UGLY. I know Mrs. Knowles does her thing designing (give her her props yall) but last night was terrible. Also
Solange is a child and needs to realize that she is NOT a member of Destiny's Child and that as a "DANCER" she should not have
responded with the ghetto act of throwing up her hands and screaming "whatever" - but hey all the braids flying around probably knocked any sense she had out of her head. Also Beyonce has got to do someithng about that weave, dry was not the word and
although Michelle and Kelly usually look tight, last night was not a good hair day for any of them. Well hope that clears up
any questions any one had. DC3 was booed for beign DC3, not for anything they had on -but they are not the first group to be
boed. I just wonder will they address the issue in the press or will they try to just forget it and move on, that will be a true test of their maturity.
