And apparently she was not into the whole player pimp thing that Slater was giving off -- she shared her fluids and left him with a note stating that she had a boyfriend and didn't want to see him anymore (after one night).

i watched yesterday and noticed that each time i see Val/Coral and the president of the Sorority, they don't smile. people w/a perpetual frown make me wonder...
also, Katina comes across like someone's mama...her style was a bit much for me...
as far as FL2, that John/Kenal/Kel, he needs a Bro, the man-bra. he really needs to do something to keep the "twins" in place. goodness, he has enough to do monthly exams...
i think the only thing i'm getting out of these shows is comedy and nothing else

Was it just my television or did Katina look like she had razor bumps on her neck?

Carmen acts like a spoiled little rich brat! (Of course that wasn't my first word choice ) Like everyone said, she know what she was signing up for. I wouldn't even let MTV bother me like that. Trust me. I'm sure that she isn't going to cross.

Is it just me or does Michelle seem a bit "touched?" That chick is a few cards short of a full deck. I don't thin that she wil make it either.

I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Frat Life

I don't know if i should post this here or not......

Big Brother Ravi on Fraternity Life needs HIS ARSE BEAT!!!!!!!

How dare you be an alumni brother coming to haze up some pledges that you don't even see on a regular basis. UGH, I wanted to steal him in the face my got dang self!

And no offense to local organizations....but I WISH A MOFO WOULD try to haze me up for five years of history!

ETA: I am glad that Kevin and Marty dropped. This frat is wack.

I think Michelle is a bit touched too. There's just something about her that makes me go hmmmmmmmm.

Carmen needs to stop whining, she knew what she was signing up for, so why is it such a big deal now? Or is she acting this way because her two buddies Meena and Janelle are no longer in the house and no one in the house really likes her?

it's funny that you meantion that 1browngirl,

all this "I want to leave blah blah blah", "I hate MTV blah blah blah" stuff didn't start for carmen (that we know of) until janelle made the desicion to leave. But like EVERYONE else says : YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WERE SIGNING UP FOR - 24 HR CAMERA'S. Think about it 16 pledges and only 6 in a house. Wonder why the other 12 decided against the house. And she is VERY spoiled, did you see her brand new car. Must be nice to be in college and pushin a 200? benz.

As for michelle, from the bowing incident I knew somethin was wrong.

Question michelle, in what world is it OK to tell someone that they drink too much, when you don't even know them?

As for frat life: all i can say is COMEDY. Them fools is WILDIN!!!!

I'm to give you my SCHOOL BOOK, that i need for my final. that's crossin the line

That's why them fools are only known for their partying, and why they're suspended from the univeristy now. Doing everything but what you came to college to do!

What do others think?

I don't feel for Carmen in any way shape or form. Isn't she the one that was talking about some of her class members' beady little slant eyes (for the Asian pledge) and didn't she say something about going to a Black school for several years therefore knowing what it is to have attitude (to one of the alumna after a comment was made about how kind she was before the process started and how she did a 180 after)? This girl is nuts and that is interesting to see because if memory serves, this is the same pledge who was an unapologetic brown-nose during the first episode. I remember her running around like a chicken with her head cut off trying to jump up and bend down for these girls -- and didn't she flip out during that same show saying that she couldn't concentrate on her work? She was doomed to be a problem from the first episode and it is sad that the sorority continues to pull her aside and tell her what she is doing wrong knowing that they had a basketcase at the beginning of the process. She would have had to answer to someone if she would have been treating sisters and MTV reps the way that she has . . . I guess it should all come out in the wash because they need a vote from everyone -- I actually don't agree with doing things that way, but since they are some local group, they are who they are and they do things the way that they do things.

If you have real problems with someone at the very beginning, why be surprised when things don't seem to work out in the end?

Oh, and one of those girls was playing the guitar during the talent search . . . she wasn't good, but I guess since she was one of the sisters, she got applause on top of applause. And, and, and that event didn't seem to be well-attended at all -- did they not advertise or was the venue too big? They probably should have taken something like that to one of the lecture halls in one of the academic building -- dang, I forgot that they were forbidden to film on campus.

Why did I start laughing when that girl was playing the guitar? The only thing I could think of was that big head tiny hairdo comment. When Lil' Coral smiled while watching the pledges perform I was so happy to see the girl had teeth and gums. She even had dimples!

Ravi on FL seems like the type you would hate even if he wasn't in a fraternity. I think he's just looking for camera time anyway. I am glad Marty spoke up when he found some comments offensive.

I just have to thank MTV for giving me some good laughs last night. I'm gonna watch the re-run just to catch all the stuff I laughed over the first time.

The "event"...... they had more people performing than were in the audience!

It was ironic that there they were dancing, and the sisters were stepping [not steppin', but stepping], and some of those girls looked like they could have used some help from former pledge Meena.

Carmen.......she needs to have her car taken away and she needs some therapy. She has a dr.jekyl mr. hyde personality.

FRAT LIFE
-Ravi reminds me of someone I knew in college, looks wise, but thankfully not personality wise. I understand that he wants the boys to know their stuff, but he is enjoying the power trip too much. And as was said b4, ALL THIS DRAMA FOR 5 YEARS OF HISTORY!

Marty- his anger at the racist comments seems legit. I don't understand why he felt ok telling MTV that, but when his big bro came and talked to him, why not say "i ripped up the shirt b/c i was offended that it said racist things".

-From next week's previews, it seems like Pat maybe feeling the pressure. If it just ends up being Jon and Robbi who get initiated I will LMAO.

i was watching tonight's episode wondering how in the world these girls are going to reach 2003 when they get awarded so few points and get so many deducted for the various reasons. that's pretty hard-up. but considering how little i've seen that they've had to do, i'm thinking the least they could do is rack up some points. seriously, their process is so boo boo to me. they do nothing but chill (from what i see). and carmen is so wack. but was anyone else laughing when the camera man was chasing her. and when they called to ask where she was going? funny stuff. i think they did that to mess with her.

i was laughing so hard during frat life. the megaphone was so funny to me. and the items they had to carry around were HIGH-larious, especially the spear with meat on it. i'm actually still laughing. but it really seems to me that these dudes have no heart. you got guy on the megaphone announcing you only have a couple of more days so just deal with it, unless of course you really didn't want to join the frat and you only wanted to be on t.v. and maybe i don't remember correctly but during rush, didn't kevin say that if he didn't get a bid this time he would rush again? he didn't really have heart.

The wall

I recall seeing one of the MTV reunion shows, and all of them talked about "the wall". They reached a point where they got sick of the cameras and wondered why they signed up for this in the first place. It was clear that one of the other pledges was also bothered by the cameras, she just handled it better. Stress really tests a person and lets their true character come through.

Oh and Katrina [sp???] the active w/ the accent...ummmm....why did you park somewhere that you might get towed, and then when you were worried about it why didn't you check on it? Before this episode she came across as mz. african freedom fighter, and WAY toooooo serious. Then she did a ditzy move like that. I had no sympathy for her as she sat there and froze while she waited for Carmen. Let me guess - you left your coat in the car?

Frat Life - Have they been moving other guys into the house as some drop?
