Beyonce and Pepsi

Did anyone else just see the new Pepsi commercial featuring Beyonce? It was kind of........... I don't know. Let me run and eat dinner and I'll have a better answer on a full stomach.

In the mean time, mingle and talk amongst yourselves about your thought of the spot. I'll be back.

Yep, we do. But at the same time, we live in a country where folks can boycott, speak out, etc. at stupid stuff that people say. The Dixie Chicks know who their core audience is. I say if you man/woman enough to say it, be man/woman enough to deal with the consequences. I give their (former??) fans props for putting principle over popularity and entertainment. I know we've had the Rrrah Kelly errr discussion here, but the similarities are glaring.

I was...I don't know how to discribe it. I tell ya what, though. It didn't make me wanna run out and grab a Pepsi. I just wish homegirl would get a new hair stylist. Her hair ALWAYS looks kinda jacked to me. I can't believe she is a spokesperson/model for a hair care company!

She's using that L'oreal stuff. She knows she should be promoting Dudley's or some product with the lady on the back.

L'oreal? Umm isn't that? Well yeah plus her weave needs to be combed from the ROOTA to the TOOTA and then washed with MOTIONS or Kera Care

ROWLAND READY TO DISROBE? Kelly and DCers say bring on the steamy scenes.

Kelly Rowland
(Mar. 20, 2003) *Kelly Rowland may be taking a cue from fellow pop princess Christina Aguilera. While Aguilera recently released her sophomore album titled "Stripped," Rowland says she's ready to strip, too, for the big screen.
World Entertainment News Network says that Rowland, nor her Destiny's Child are afraid of doing steamy movie scenes and would even disrobe for the cameras, if it was the right role.

The "right" role is considered by Rowland to be something along the lines of Halle Berry's steamy scene in her Oscar-winning performance in "Monster's Ball."

"What I love about Halle is she was doing her thing, it wasn't just, 'I'm gonna be in a sex scene.' The movie had depth and reason. I would like to do a sex scene like that," Rowland.

CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER AND FAMILY JOIN FORCES WITH MOTHER OF MANY: They sent MOM's Middle East Peace Boxes to Marines and sailors in Kuwait

(Mar. 21, 2003) As the countdown to Operation Iraqi Freedom struck the 43rd hour, Mother Of Many shipped "M.O.M.'s Middle East Peace Boxes" to Camp Pendleton Marines and Navy Sailors in Kuwait.
King of Comedy, Cedric "The Entertainer" and his wife Lorna donated socks, tooth paste, deodorant, baby wipes, dental supplies, shaving supplies, toiletries and other much needed items from home. M.O.M.'s Middle East Peace Boxes also included DVD's of Cedric The Entertainer Presents the Starting Lineup Platinum Comedy Series and a stuffed Marine Bulldog with a personal Cedric "The Entertainer" voice recorded message wishing the troops a safe and speedy return home.

Mother Of Many (M.O.M.) has joined forces with Operation Interdependence (O.I.), a history-making civilian to military delivery system, to deliver some back home love to deployed Camp Pendleton Marines and Navy Sailors. Each member of a unit receives various items from civilians who purchase, pack and ship the care packages. The New Hope Church of God In Christ Sunday school children help M.O.M. pack the Middle East Peace Boxes.

"The purpose of M.O.M.'s Middle East Peace Box is to let deployed Marines and Navy Sailors know that we're praying for their safe return home and for a peaceful end to President Bush's war against Iraq. Now that the war has begun we must provide moral and spiritual support for our servicemen and servicewomen," states Mother Of Many founder and president Daphne Bradford.

Mother Of Many, Inc. (M.O.M.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to preserving the rich culture of American history, music, literature, and film. M.O.M.'s mission is to "Plant the Seeds of Wisdom" from the past and present for sound learning, understanding and judgment for future generations.
