Fall 05 Here
Hi Sorors,
Reading through these I have learned things do vary by region here in Ohio (Cleveland/Akron) if you play "More Bounce" ...to the ounce. Move before you get run down by Alpha Phi Alpha

FINALLY!!!! Soror, I thought I was losin' my mind! It must be a Midwest thing.
Midwest being the area of the country, and NOT the region of Alpha Kappa Alpha. This is the GREAT Great Lakes.

Thanx! I've heard that it was Bad Mamma Jama... Yet I've heard that to be the Zeta's song also. Same thing with brickhouse. What's up with that?

I've heard of this too. I never saw any of my bruhs stroll to it. They used it as the background for this link here.

I guess that's one more thing that the pretty boyz have in common with the pretty girls. Well Ladies you can have it. I'll personally never stroll to Set It Off. Candy is my JAM!!!

I must say for myself as a NUPE what gets me hype is that old school song "Pimp Daddy" or "One More Chance" by BIGGIE. I do associate the Set It Off song with AKA (they do the d@mn thing) and the Deltas with the "Drum Line" band song.

I've never seen the "traditional" strut either. I recently began hearing about a "national/universal" stroll a couple of months ago but I've never seen it. Is anyone familiar with it? I crossed in Florida and "Set it Off" is the only "universal" stroll I knew of until I moved to Texas.
Texas Sorors...is there more than 1 verson of the Scarred stroll? The stroll the Sorors are doing in the video is a little different than the one I've seen. Scarred is a fast song to stroll off of. My UG chapter had a stroll to it but I'd hurt myself if I tried to do it now.

Sorors Set It Off is definitely a SA Region thing, but on occassion some of us Sorors in the Great Great Lakes Region will rock that stroll at party's. Especially those of us that graduated from FAMU whether you were initiated through Beta Alpha or not. At Boule 2004 Soror PinkIvy and I were the two on the floor doing the Set It Off stoll at the hotel gala.
Also I know in Michigan when we stroll it is common to say "Sorors we're going to do National". Meaning the "Universally" known stroll. I'm sure you all have seen it. Ever region does it.
If anyone (Soror) wants it broken down pm me privately.
