Brian Devinney's Recaps at Reality News Online are almost as much fun (sometimes more fun) as watching the actual show.

I don't think it's cheating because they said they couldn't use their computers....

anyone venture to guess what the code to the cryptex is?

That's a good guess -- I hadn't though of that. I was speculating that it's SCOTT, since "the answer is right in front" and Scott is right in front of Key ("Francis Scott Key"). But light is right in front of them, too.

ooooooooooh. i was very for a little bit last night, i kept thinking, they going to let them get to the end and then disqualify them.

as far as the cryptex, MASON was the first thing that popped inmy mind, but when the geniuses said it didnt work, i drew a blank. LIGHT sounds like a good choice!

I really, really want Air Force to win. I can't believe they got so lost. It's hard to tell how behind they are because of the way the show is edited.

Excellent guess about "light"!!! I'm impressed!

It seemed pretty clear from the previews for next week that all 3 teams end up in the chamber, so I suppose it's still anyone's hunt.

I hope so.. Air Force really deserves it. They've been so level headed throughout the entire hunt. I hope the southies don't win! They're obnoxious.

It's also bothered me that they've moved ahead twice by guessing without actually solving the clues. (Wiping the map of Paris with water and guessing that "Liberty" was the key to the first cyptex just because they were in the town with the Liberty Bell.) I'm all for luck, but in a hunt based on solving puzzles to move ahead, I want to see a team actually solve a puzzle to move ahead.

I wondered if the cryptex code is FSKEY (for Francis Scott Key). I like the LIGHT and SCOTT ideas too, though.

Sorry for the double post... but I just thought about this.

The Genworth Financial "hint" that started out as "I Seek Thy Reef", but was then revealed to be an anagram for "The Key Is Free" has made me think MysticCat is right about SCOTT being the code. I've never heard of something being FSKEY-Free, or LIGHT-free. But, I've definitely heard the expression, "SCOTT-free."

Maybe I'm making more out of it than they intended, but now I really think the cryptex code is SCOTT.

My DVR didn't record the ending!

Can someone tell me what happened after the Southies got to the top of Key Industries?

I always go for the underdog. Go Southies! I wouldn't mind if the Geniuses win, either...anyone but the Air Force!

The one guy on Air Force looks like Jeremy Bloom's twin brother.
