Did I say anything about Texas? Obviously Texas and Alaska are major hydrocarbon states too, but the comment was directed at OU and OSU.

OU's petroleum engineering school is a Top Five, and OSU's is quality too. Boone Pickens, a billionaire that founded one of the most successful Oil and Gas companies in the country, funds their program.
UT
OU
Stanford
U of Tulsa
are the tops, among a couple others

Are you sure you aren't even maybe related to alum? You spout the same horse sh*t that she does. She is a dinosaur who believes in a tiered system too. Of course she won't even respond to my posts b/c my group was formed in the 20TH CENTURY so we don't even hit the bottom rung of her tier system.

actually, here is the list, which I also had my uncle confirm, who is in a top oil and gas company in texas.
#1 University of Texas- Austin
#2 Texas A&M - College Station
#3 University of Tulsa
#4 LSU - Baton Rouge
#5 University of Oklahoma
I thought you were being sarcastic....how could you think that Oklahoma knows nothing about oil and gas exploration?

You are going to get laughed out of law school. You cannot cite your uncle on exams.

Dammit, why didn't anybody tell me you can't cite your uncle on an exam before today? I cited my uncle on the WV bar exam that I took yesterday!!!!! (wonder how the bluebook citation for that would look?)

Ah, but don't top tier fraternity men at top tier schools make their own laws? I'm sure his uncle was old row and that should be good enough for anyone.
Oh, wait. The real world doesn't work that way anymore, if it ever did.

thank god you greek chatters could let me know that you cant cite interviews. Ill be sure to e-mail the APA and MLA to let them know that they should just take those out. Now how accurate his uncle is, is debateable. If hes an expert in the field it stands, otherwise it doesnt, but the fact of the matter is you cant disregard his comments just becuase its his uncle. you might have to go on his uncles expertise, not your own biases against us.

Yeah, that old row, "know who my father is" stuff doesn't work in the real world. However, there are probably a couple hundred congressmen, Fortune 500 execs, and our own President Bush who might disagree with you.

I'd possibly agree with you if I thought for a second any of these posters were from families at the Bush level of wealth and power. The more they try to throw their weight around, the less plausible anything they say seems.

And for all I know you could be a 47 year old man trying to seduce people on greek chat like you see on tv, but do i really think that...no. All i acutally assume is that youre a kd, youre name is danielle, kd probably sucks where you go to school, and you probably like to date GDIs (or fraternity guys that might as well be GDIs). But hey, for all I know what I jsut stated was false.
