Thank you all.

To the few ladies who knew this and have kept my secret I thank you, I appreciate it....I know it had to be hard....I will let you all know the rest of the details as they come up, but for me I am in Houston Texas with a really bad southern drawl working my butt off so I can come home sometime soon....

Are you worried about your law studies? I know you said you were taking a lot of classes and I would think being on a business trip would cause you to miss a lot of them.

ETA: Which school are you initiating at? I think a girl I went to camp with is an ASA at one of the Chicago schools.

I have worked out a schedule with my law professors so that I can take care of my business trips and still attend my classes....They have transfered the work that I am suppose to be doing in Chicago to University of Houston College of Law. When I am finished with my business trip I will take my studies back up North.

I I believe it with be Northern but please do not quote me on that, I just know that most of the Chapter that I am joining went to Northern and I believe that, they will have be initate there.

Forgive me if i'm just confused, how does this comply with the ABA requirement of 80% attendence at all classes?

Even part time law studies (while my school does not offer a part time/evening option, Duquesne Univ does and two of my coworkers are from there) are about 12 credits. I just do not see how this is possible. It doesn't matter how smart or organized you are, the ABA has requirements and so do schools. You can just leave one school for part of a semester and come back. It just doesn't work that way.
