I live in Erie PA so we get a fair amount of lake effect snow. It's not the snow that bothers me. It's the fact that my street NEVER gets plowed. When all that snow gets packed down layer by layer it makes the road so bumpy it feels like I'm offroading. Towards the end of the winter when I reach a main street I have to be careful not to bottom out as I turn onto the bare pavement.

I'm so glad that I saw my first snow day on Christmas!
I spent part of the day dropping off blankets and jackets in mexico. (only 10 minutes away) It seems they were just as surprised and my uncle's pd dept. was called for the last minute help. Seems like the last time it snowed was over a hundred years ago.
It all dripped away by about 5 this afternoon, but it was a beautiful white christmas!

The last time I saw a white christmas was 6 years ago (I think). This Christmas it's raining (as usual) - defeating a big Canadian stereotype!

Snow, snow, everywhere!! We got about 5-6 inches at my parents' house in Corpus Christi, TX. This was just crazy but we all loved it! The streets were filled last night with people of all ages playing in the snow. Since this will probably be the only White Christmas we have down here in our lifetime, we took tons of pictures. We still have snow on the ground that didn't melt in today's 50 degree weather.

What an awesome gift adri. Clayton called me all freaking out. He had NEVER seen snow before. Still trippin on the timinmg of Christmas EVE too!! The best part, is that it will be 80 on Tuesday. Thats THE ONLY way to experience winter; 2 days of it and then back to perpetual summer. Let the kids up north stare at it for 3 months. lol. I can handle a snow once every 10 years or so.

Yeah they're only excited because it melts there, instead of sticking around for 3 months and turning all black from the soot off the streets When I lived in Alabama this summer, I met a girl who said she'd like to get married in the snow - she'd only seen snow a few times, and thought it was romantic. Me and a girl from Wisconsin told her she was nuts.

We got just under a 1/2 inch last night, with occasional snow showers today. Just the perfect topper to the 20" we got Wednesday/Thursday.
Y'all in TX and points south enjoy your snow though

I'm at my parents house in Suffolk, VA...about 3 inches so far. We are suppose to have 6 today. No church or cute preacher's son today!
My friends in Wilson, NC are all snowed in and hanging out...I think they have about the same as here.

There was some sleet early this morning here in North Florida. I didn't come to Florida from NYC to deal with cold weather!
At least I know it won't be snowing in Cambodia.

So sad I'm missing it while in Fla. It's cold here and I hate it when it's cold but there's no snow!
