Embittered Lakers fan
Who got some mild sense of satisfaction with Sac-town's departure from the playoffs.

2 Games a piece and that was an exciting end of the game tonight! Nets may have the formula to solve the Spur mystery!

I hope so because it is TIME for the Eastern Conference to win the championship. If I'm not mistaken the last time this happened was with the Bulls Dynasty.

TTT/2004 Western Conference
Now. The Lakers did their job, although I am not pleased with the throwing of the switch mentality. In the WC Finals, if Minnesota is the opponent, the team needs to go in and steal one of the first two games -- not the fifth -- in the Target Center.
The sense of urgency would be less if Sacramento is the oppt., because the Lakers have home court.
And it was beautiful to see Sugar Shaquille Diesel Daddy O'Neal crash the boards 19 times last night and block those shots.

Well, since S.A. is now out of it, I would love to see SAC vs. NJ for the title.
I desPISE the Lakers.

I'm torn-- because I've been a Lakers fan since the Magic Johnson/Showtime era. I'm torn because I've never been a Karl Malone fan and now find myself lightweight-rooting for him (weirdness, I know...)
also, I'm a Kevin Garnett fan (and yep, Tim Duncan has Garnett's MVP trophy from last year at his crib and needs to give it back) and I expect Minnesota to put the wood to Sacramento --a team I don't like at all-- today. Between LA/Minn., my allegiance is with LA but I'll listen to arguments from Minnesota's finest DST (Delph998) to try to sway me.
Outside of Indiana, the East is unwatchable.

YAY!!! My babies pulled it out today! Just hoping they can pull it out on Wednesday.
I'm hoping for a Kings-Pacers match up
But, either way, the winners coming out of the West. The Western Conference Final will once again be the REAL FINAL.
Thank you Tony for bringing back fond memories of the Showtime Lakers. I loved them. Perhaps, my "hater" status will leave after Kobe leaves (by free will or force). This year was hard. I like Shaq, Malone, and Payton!!! But darnit, their arrogance is sickening!

That's right Tony! MINNESOTA T-Wolves!!! Hey, I'm just happy they've made it this far.

NBA justice
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_yl...v=st&type=lgns
Anthony Peeler suspended for two games. Kevin Garnett, he of the symmetry, mad game and $126M contract (yup, Shaq's not the only player that excites me ) only got a $7.5K fine.

Re: NBA justice
See, if they were playing another team I wouldn't mind. But, since they are playing my babies...I'm hopping mad!!
But, if they got rid of KG, it would really be over.
