May need to reread the Outlander series. I miss so much on previous reads. I happened upon this series via my public library. Gabaldon's released the second Outlandish Companion. Bummed my library doesn't have it yet.

I bought the second Companion on Nook, but I think it would be much better in hard copy format...the graphics for some of the items, like family trees and some of the maps, are really hard to read on the Nook, and you can't zoom in. Also, I think a book format works better for a reference type resource...it's a pain to skip around and go to the spot you want with the Nook.

I'm rereading the series, and I'm a little ways into Written in my Own Heart's Blood.

I reserved it through the library. I'm not sure whether to say, "thanks!" Or, "Wow, you really want to get rid of it!"

Actually, I've been gifted by books in the past, and was just paying it forward.

I did finish The Escape. It was wonderful, as expected. I need a quick trip to Half-Price Books to fill the need.

For those who say, why not use the library, the local library has such odd hours (compared to my even odder working hours) that I have paid more in fines than I would have done by buying at HPB. So it goes.

I was afraid it was so creepy, you wanted it gone! I'm picking it up at the library tomorrow. I'll let you know if I finish it!

Last year I met one of my favorite authors Jodi Picoult, I've only haven't been a fan of one of the books that she's written. I'm reading her newest one leaving time and it is definitely a book I recommend! She always has an interesting subject in her book and this one talks about elephants, such a cool animal!

Just finished "The Conspiracy of Us" by Maggie Hall. I have an Audible subscription and like the narrator and the storyline intrigued me (love audiobooks when I run). Can't wait for the next installment coming in March.
