Coral, Rachel, Trishelle, Veronica, Tonya...they need to get real jobs.

The RR Extreme Cast was the last RR cast ever. They couldn't get cast members from other seasons (including RW) because it's always the same damn people coming back to do the challenges all the freaking time. They probably could have gotten some RW Austin people in there, but I don't think the RW Austin season was completed by the time the Gauntlet 2 was being filmed. In order to fully complete the concept of the "Rookies"...they probably had to bring back all the cast members from the RR Extreme season.

Danny and Melinda (and I can't remember who else) will be on the next challenge, though.

From what I've read most of the Austin cast will be on the next challenge - so if it's true that'll be interesting, lol.

I'd think it would be incredibly boring.

Oh yes.

I watched the first two episodes of RW Austin and was extremely bored, so I didn't bother to watch the rest of the season. From what I hear, the RW Austin was one of the most boring seasons ever in the history of the RW.

If this is the course the challenges are taking, there's no point in watching em anymore.

Tonight's episode was a huge let down. It's no fun if they always make up at the end.

losing ruthie is going to be a huge blow for the vet team. however, it might help them in the end with the other team having lots of girls left.

rookies - losing most of the guys
vet - losing most of the girls

I totally agree with you.
But was it just me, or should they not have voted Beth in??I mean, I know she's not the nicest person, but she did get out there and do a pretty good job; Whereas Robin was walking 2/3 of the way. I was sad to see Ruthie go (ok...sort of, but not really. I definetely like the Rookies more-I think they handle themselves better)...but it's not like they shouldn't have expected it Ah well...hopefully the season will get a little more entertaining.

I agreed. We'll see how Beth does as captain.

There's something about Beth that I can't stand and it's really hard to look at her.

Losing Ruthie was no surprise because I keep up with the spoiler sites. I was just bummed that she had to lose to freaking BETH, though.

Even if Robin was walking most of the time in this event, the Veterans looked at the big picture and Robin's stepped up the majority of the time.

All Beth does is whine and bitch about every one of her teammates.

You'd think that, after being on reality TV all these years, and seeing how MTV portrays you on TV, she'd do us all a favor and just stay away.

I'm not a Beth fan at all, but I've always detested Montana. She's so lazy and never contributes anything. I think a gauntlet between her and Beth would be hilarious.

ETA: So how much are we betting that the team deliberately loses when it's a women's challenge so she has to go to the gauntlet?
