Well, I think that the Grammy's were aight. There weren't the best or the worst, it was just kinda so-so.
Like everyone else I really enjoyed the Jamie Fox and Alicia Keys performance (from what I could hear over my loud LS's in the next room). I thought that she looked really nice. My 7 told me that she wishes that Alicia would go back to the braids. I like her with her hair out....but I digress...back to the Grammy's.
I am glad that Ray Charles won all those awards, even though it is a shame that they waited until he died to realize what a musical genius he really was.
I am glad Kanye won, I thought his speech was cute, but I can see where other people are coming from talking about how he sounded arrogant.
I didn't like the Tsunami thing, it looked thrown together and rushed. It looked like they didn't know who was singing what part, and it just looked a H.A.M.!
I was so glad that Usher actually sang during his performance this time instead of dancing threw the whole thing like he did on some award show.
I thought that lil country lady that won was TOO funny with her acceptance speech.
How about me and my LS's were watchin J-Lo and her husband, and my 14 was like...."Where are the subtitles?"
I was thinking that too.....I wanted to know what they were talking about. I think she sound better singing spanish that english....and she still sounded awful last night....my LS's said that they wanted to give J-Lo's husband a sandwich....I thought that was funny...but he is little though........he looks sickly
when E cut to you, and you were adjusting yourself. I wasn't feeling the hair, was it humid?
