3. currently alum status right now, because I have no chapter to call home hence my GC name! but Hopefully if things go planned I will be active again in the fall!
4. I joined AGD, well pretty much I couldnt get AGD out of my head, before rush the agd songs would get in my head, it was too silly, then I met everyone and knew it was for me. Also, my mom has diabetes and I thought it was great that we raise money for it and all
my best memory, well, when I had to leave school due to illness, my girls through me a surprise going away party, then they sent happies to me a couple months later.

thats all from me, sorry I havent been posting lately, i am way busy and the computer had to go to the computer doctor :-( but its all better now!

2. I am from Theta Xi chapter at Clemson University in South
Carolina.
3. I was a charter member of my chapter. We had open rush with the sisters from UGA and Georgia Tech in the Spring of 1994. We received our charter and were initiated later that semester. There were only 50 of us when quota on campus was a lot higher, so I knew that we may have a tough time with things. But I made some really good friends, and had some great times. Its also great to know that I was in the first very first chapter at my school.

Collegiate or Alum: Collegiate

Why I joined: I joined because the girls were very cool and down to earth. They didn't act fake or snobby and they each had their OWN personality--that means a lot to me that a chapter cherishes your individuality and doesn't try to turn you into their "cookie cutter" image. Even though the chapter was so diverse, they got along great, worked hard, had fun and took pride in their chapter. This was all evident in the many awards that they had earned. I felt very comfortable there and I wanted to be a part of what is definitely the best chapter on campus! I have never regretted my decision.

Greatest memory: Wow, this is really difficult--there are so many awesome memories so far with many more to come, I'm sure. I'll just list a few of my favorites: Our Red Rose Formal, Songfest, Pi-a-palooza (which is ADPi's philanthropic event--my new member class participated and we put on all of our Hawaiian gear, baked a pie and had a blast together), Alpha Gam Lip Jam (our philanthropic lip sync contest). There are many, many more, but I will stop here.

5) ONE of my many favorite memories was being initiated. We are fortunate to have such a beautiful and meaningful ceremony.

I just discovered GC, and am a new member to it. It is a wonderful concept!

This roll call is just too much fun to leave in the archives... so back up to the top it goes... my turn!

University and Chapter: University of Hawaii - Delta Sigma

Collegian or Alum: Alum

Why I joined: So many reasons but two biggest ones... pride and ritual. During RUSH, the Alpha Gams totally had their act together... uniform, name tags, organized, bright smiles, attention to detail... couldn't resist stopping by their Open House. The local sororities were all sitting around eating their lunches and talking with each other... didn't even look like they were interested in recruiting anyone! Then the Alpha Gams held a beautiful little ceremony to present us with our bids... I was hooked. Ritual still makes me teary.

Greatest memory: I could write you a novel of my greatest memories as an Alpha Gam... but I guess my absolute favorite would be... my life as a pledge! Boy did we have some good times...

As an alum... and now the Chapter Advisor for Delta Sigma... I continue to build upon my great memories... I think I've even managed to create a few for some collegians along the way.... right Sandy?... (teapot song....start singing sister!)

Why AGD?
I joined Alpha Gam b/c the women of the Kappa Gamma chapter are outstanding. These ladies took me in after a really bad break up and were there for me 24/7 eventhough i wasn't a member yet. now, that's true sisterhood. needless to say i joined right after that. i have no regrets to this day.

I HOPE EVERYONE ELSE IS AS HAPPY AS I AM IN AGD.

My last semester as a collegian was definitely THE MOST MEMORABLE...thanks to Mai and the alums! [singing the teapot song] **"Im a little Alpha Gam...**

Hi everyone! I am new to GreekChat, so I figured I'd post here first. Here's my info for everyone:
Name: Donielle
College/Chapter: Lafayette College, Zeta Theta
I'm an alumna (graduated May 2001)
I joined Alpha Gam because all of the girls were awesome and they were nothing like the snobby, fake girls that overrun Lafayette. Zeta Theta was the smallest chapter on campus, but what we lacked in numbers, we more than made up for in character! Joining was one of the best things I ever did. All of my AGD memories are my favorite ones!

I'm hoping to make a lot more memories as Scholarship and Alumnae Relations advisor.
