What I do know is that the Love that Groove has given me is the same as my brothers and the basic concept and reasoning of Groove is understood by every Brother in the organization in the same way. Better yourself and knowledge is power in everyway. Dont be ignorant and decieve yourself.

are you freaking serious? Did he really say that? I realize I am four years late to this party, but did I misinterpret or did he really say that BGLOs are the only Greek Lettered Organizations that actually remember their founders? I can't believe there was an argument about everything else, but not this. What a slap in the face to millions of dedicated brothers and sisters across the nation and throughout time.

What do you mean you "study history right." I've read most of what has been said in this thread and it is mostly complete bullshit. I especially liked the statement that only black GLOs remember their founders.

I'm not sure he actually read the rest of the thread, it's a bit older. I think he just bumped it because it's GroovePHIGroove

What is Groove Phi Groove? Are they rivals with Blood Phi Man? Either way, they sound like they are both rivals of Alpha Phi Alpha. I just think that because the Phi is in the middle, I have nothing to base that on. But seriously, what are the colors, coat of arms, etc?

His sentence is pretty convoluted, but I didn't read it the same way you did ...

It reads to me like that is saying that he feels that BGLOs haven't really stayed true to their roots, and that is why he chooses Groove Phi Groove over those organizations, because he sees his org as "truer" or whatever. I don't see anything in that statement saying anything about other GLOs at all.

You aren't the ones who should be offended. Although why anyone needs to be getting all up in arms over a thread this old, I don't know.

I am not here to hear bullsh@@, or start anything that is against any of your organization, but I am here to answer any respectfull questions about my organization. Colors consist of black and white, arms consist of spear and egyptian sword. Our organization respects all organizations that help out and do things for community benefit instead of personal benefit. Groove is a nonprofit organization so our money comes from our memeber's personal pocket when events are being set. The organization is ran by older brothers and the support of bothers over all. "WE come this Far by Faith". Groove has survived 44 years with members' support and we will continue to survive till every member has their last breath. We dont have a board that give us money every year we do it ourselves. Survival through believers.

I am quite familiar with your organization. At one of the HBCUs I attended Groove Phi Groove as well as Soul Phi Soul had plots and their own organization rooms. The BGLOs had theirs as well so obviously G Phi G was just as respected as the other orgs.

I guess because some people have never heard of your org they think it's some made up group or something. Just because you've never heard of something doesn't make it any less authentic.

Also if you do the math, 44 years ago and you consider the climate in this country towards blacks then it is very obvious the importance of the founding of Groove Phi Groove, etc.

I wish your organization the best and may you prosper to see another 44 years+.

(I know this thread is four years old but...) I love how Cardiac called everyone immature when he was the one saying that everyone else is wrong except for him. He also claims that all of the history books are too slanted except for the ones he sights as facts. It was an immature way to represent his organization. Ok I'm finished, I just had to say that.
