I saw part of an episode this weekend - I hadn't ever seen the show. All I can say is wow. I felt so bad for those little girls. It's hard for me to believe people actually do this to their own daughters. smh

It's terrible.

Those kids get away with it because really, mom couldn't care less what they say as long as they get up on stage and do their routines.

It's like, I don't care if you tell me to shut up, cry, scream, whatever, as long as you do this pageant at the end of the day.

It works pretty well for them, until Daughter is a teen, no longer doing pageants (very few kids keep going with it) and STILL TALKING BACK TO HER.

"TUTTI! I'm TUTTI now! At school, I'm Madison."

No, kid, you're a brat, and your mother's crazy for caving in to you. What I would give to see one of these mothers march her child out for bad behavior!

You know, I DID see one ep (the one with those bratty twins) where DAD actually pulled one of the girls from the talent portion and took her back up to the hotel room because she was being SO bratty toward her mother.

The kicker: Mom was trying to BEG Dad to just let her compete (ignoring her behavior) because she knew that if she didn't participate in one of the events, she had no chance at winning.

I remember the dad just saying "I don't care. This is unacceptable" and carrying her out (all the while she was screaming and yelling lol). She lost (because she didn't do her talent) but Dad stuck to his guns.

That girl sounds like a demon, that Makenzie brat.

Why are they all name 6,000 variations of Mackenzie, Madison, Makinley, and the like? UGH.

Moving on, why are they giving away living things as prizes? That's just wrong. No child should win a puppy. What if the family is not prepared to bring that dog home?

Also I'd like to ask the woman who is the producer or whatever of La Maison de Paris (or whatever) since she's from Louisiana and according to her French is "their native..." how much French she speaks. It seems like none other than the damn pageant title. I know there are many in the state who do speak French, she seems as though she has barely mastered English.

I know, right? If my kid won a puppy in ANY sort of event, I would say "no thanks." He/she would have to just be mad.

I keep waiting for a girl to get up there and pick her nose and est it, or pull up her dress and show the judges her butt, or give everyone the finger, but that's my sick, sophomoric sense of humor.

I was banned from watching the Flyers game last night and landed on Toddlers and Tiaras. I couldn't stop watching - it was like a giant trainwreck!

That Tutti/Madison girl was rediculous. What a stinkin brat. And why did she talk in 3rd person? "Tutti thinks she did great, but Tutti is exhausted."

And the second show with Mackenzie, wow, just wow. The mom was a wack job and the dad was like "I don't like it when she screams and cries, so I just do whatever she wants." Um, she's 4!

And seriously, what is with the names? How many Mackenzie, Makinley, etc. are there?

that little girl sounded like an old smoker! i was HOLLERING every time she opened her mouth.

i wish these pageants had a behavior category for kids AND parents, or some other rule that states when you step foot on the hotel property (Thursday night or whatever) you will be judged at ALL TIMES on your actions. If you're yelling, fussing, cussing, etc then points should be deducted.

Methinks Tutti doth suffer from the beginnings of at the very least delusions.

Someone tell that girl she's not Hannah Montana. That is a TV show, not real life. Even Beyonce killed Sasha Fierce. YEESH!

GGGGGIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!! OMG I could not believe how she was acting - and her parents were just ok with it!

I'm sorry but my mom would have snatched me up if I ever spoke or treated her like that - no matter if I was 4 years old or 40!

I can't imagine what that poor girl is going to be like as a teen/adult. God help them!

These will likely be some of the same girls whose parents will think they're "special little snowflakes" when/if they go through recruitment.
