Texas is the best!! And yes, I'm biased, b/c I've lived here all my life.
Galveston: Going to Nursing school here, otherwise I have no use for this ghetto island. The only good things about it are the nice weather, and the Mardi Gras. Thats about it. It's really trashy down here, not many people are ambitious (ex: don't care about college, education, etc). The majority of the people down here have kids at a young age-it's not a big deal-for instance, when I first moved here, a lady asked if I had any kids-I told her no way, at age 20 I was too young-and she said, no you're not!

I don't really like it here.
Houston: I'm still discovering this city-Mr. XO_Princess lives here, and we try to see a new part of the city each time we go out. It has lots of fun places to hang out, tons of restaurants. Horrible traffic, and horrible pollution. And I think the people are more materialistic than the people in Dallas. I like the city though, but I just haven't seen that much of it.
Dallas-the best, no comparison! I was born here, lived here for 20 years-I love it here! There are so many neat things about this city to see and do-Deep Ellum, Lower Greenville, Farmers Market, Knox-Henderson, Turtle Creek area, Cedar Springs-I could go on and on! It's true though that people are really into money and apperances here-like, you wear make-up for anything, even running to 7-11. And there's the sports: Dallas Stars(my favorite), Rangers, Mavericks. Awesome, awesome town.
Fort Worth-this is a fun town. This is where I go to get my "cowboy fix". Mr. XO_Princess went to TCU, so we used to run around here alot. BTW, Greek life is huge at TCU. Downtown FT. Worth has alot of neat clubs, bars, and restaurants. And they're always doing outdoor concerts in Sundance Square. And cowtown is fun too-it's pretty much everything you hear about it-tons of country bars and clubs.
Weather wise, it's hot as hell everywhere, but it's more humid in Galveston and Houston (obviously)..anyhoo, hope that helps!
