Sonic has been on a huge expansion the past several years, and, frankly, I think some of the older ones are better than the new ones.

Personally, I really like them -- especially the limeaid. And the burgers at the good ones are made like they used to make them back when I was a kid.

The ones that still use carhops on rollerskates are great.

There is one close to us where a lot of old car buffs "cruise" the drive-in like we used to do way back in the 60's.

Overall, I think Sonic is fun.

Oklahoma City, Sonic Corporation HQ.

We have Sonics everywhere! Great for a fast meal. Food is good and many of them take credit cards!

Can't beat a cherry-vanilla Dr. Pepper.

Thumbs up

Try their toasters.

They're also a great place to have fundraisers.

Some stores in my area will allow an organization to staff the place for a day and keep all the tips as a fund raiser.

We have Sonic all over the place. I could live w/o their burgers. But back in high school they had the best grilled cheese (before they starting using texas toast)-- and crispy tots!! Yum!!
I really like their chicken strips, tots are good---
but no one makes a Cherry Dr Pepper like Sonic does!!!! yummmm!!!!!!

I don't know what the deal with Sonic is... lately every single time I go to get a banana split, they are pretty much already melted when I get them

I don't think it's *that* hot in Texas!

I finally got to try Sonic this past week when I was in Memphis and I really liked it! I had some kind of burger, fries with cheese and a yummy limeade with strawberries. I wish we had Sonic up here

Sonic is my summertime fast food joint. The chicken club toaster sandwich, chili cheese tots, strawberry or cherry limeades, strawberry cheesecake shake, banana shake, Oreo blast.....good stuff....

I was actually just there yesterday and saw a guy carhop on skates......... Pretty funny sight--he didn't fall or anything, but it was kinda funny seeing him roll out to the car.

I try and avoid fast-food as much as possible but I can’t resist a Root 44 Cherry Limeade.

Oh the torture!

I was raised within 3 miles and 4 miles of two different Sonics! (I lived in a HUGE neighborhood)

I love Cherry Limeade and Vanilla Dr Pepper! I also like Cheese Tots and Corn Dogs with mustard

And chocolate MALT, not just chocolate shake...ooooh yummy.

And so on I think USA or TNT one of those stations, they ALWAYS play Sonic commercials up here in New England, further rubbing it into our wounds that we do NOT have it up here!

We finally got Krispy Kreme, so, God willing, perhaps Sonic will be here before I move from this area (I have already told DH that we WILL be living in a warmer climate, which is code for Sonic Territory
