She was on "Strong Medicine," "Soul Food," and "Less Than Perfect" (as herself in that one).
And will be in Relative Strangers this year (or was I can't tell if was released)
She's been on several other shows as herself, but that's only because she was on The View

She had her own show before The View, some type of court show, but it was short lived.
She has also done comentator work for CNN, Court TV and Inside Edition (where I believe she was the anchor for them during the OJ trial).

I remember watching Star Jones as a legal commentator during the William Kennedy Smith trial. I'm not sure if that was only in NYC. She worked in the Brooklyn DA's office before that.
Star Jones will be fine. She's smart, educated, and resourceful. She will take a little break from the spotlight, hire a PR firm, and make a big comeback.

I forgot she was a lawyer until Barbara started asking her about the legalities of the man who donated his sperm and now has fathered like 9 kids.

You should audition to replace Star. You could talk about the law and beer and handbags and cats. You would rock!

Absolutely not. If Baba or Meredith or Joy would have done the same thing, I would say the EXACT same things about them I did about Star.
Janeane Garofolo did something similar on Saturday Night Live - begged to be on the show, then once she got on, trashed everyone of her castmates and the writers. She demanded let out of her contract early which left the show in the lurch as far as female castmembers were concerned. There's a trust in doing a live on-air show with other people and breaking that trust is a crummy thing to do. Period.

You've got to watch those lawyers pretty closely, don't you

Seriously - it was one of the nastiest things I've seen on TV. I half expected her to burn a picture of Star or something...

I watched Star on the Today show this morning and I have to say, I don't dislike her as much as I did before. She ate some humble pie on the issue of planning her wedding on the View and such. She did, however, also say that this would be the last we'd hear from her on the issue. I was laughing to myself b/c the People article entitled 'I Was Fired' is coming out today.

From what I hear (did not see any of it), the wedding thing was pretty outlandish.

She needs a roundhouse kick to the side of her head (or depending on how you look at it she'd get a roundhouse kick to the eye socket on the side of her head).
