I'm not dealing with a "Bad" company, per se, but I did place an order and now one of the items is no longer available (although still listed on their site). I asked to cancel the order. Does that make me a bad customer? (With that item unavailable, I'd now be paying more in shipping than the items cost themselves, and I no longer think it's worth it.)

No. It was the company's decision to no longer carry the item. You're completely in the right especially if shipping charges are a factor.

I had bought a KD hoodie from a company(Greek Clothing) off ebay and when I went to pay for it I ended up having to pay for it outside ebay...anyway...in the meantime...someone got my bank account information and was running up charges and I had no clue and had to have my account froze and had to wait for my new card to be issued..I called the company and told them what had happened and that I would get them the payment ASAP..
long story short...
I finally got my new card & paid for the hoodie...I got it yesterday and TODAY I recieved a unpaid item strike and negative feedback from this company saying I NEVER paid! WTF?? I asked!! I wrote them an email and waiting to hear back..I am pretty mad about it!

Brandi, did they send you an invoice in an e-mail? There's a good possibility that you were a victim of phishing.

The company most likely filed the NPB report a few days ago. Then, when you paid, it had already gone through. I don't think there's much that can be done once they file the NPB.

You should contact Ebay to let them know that your bank info was stolen. They have a fraud unit that should be alerted.

Yes they did send me an invoice by email...I was reading about the NPB and it can be removed by the seller....
What gets me is they posted Negative Feedback the day after I got my hoodie! I think they are a careless company!
What is phishing??

In Columbus, The Jacket Man does 98 percent of the lettering for Otterbein's sororities and fraternities. I've had 3 shirts and a bag and I went to get my little and I our family letters a few days ago. I know they do class letters for Theta NU and I think they did Sigma Alpha Tau's homecoming letters. If you bring them fabric and a tshirt, it's only 8 bucks to have a shirt done.

Being a local, its hard to find lavaliers. I ordered my little's off of Greek101 instead of at the local gift store because the gift store ones always look shotty and dingy to me and the Tau looks odd. Even though it was ridiculously expensive, it was worth it.

Does anyone know any companies that let you see the designs online? Like you can play around to see what colours look best etc?

Thumbs down Joe toga does sloppy work

I recently made an order with JoeToga.com and I was really Disappointed. The teekees and keychains were sloppy and most of them fell apart within a couple weeks.

I love Sorority Specialties and have ordered several things from them. They are very fast, and very professional!

But I have had problems with Greek Gear. I was charged twice for a t-shirt I ordered... I never did get the money back. :-(

My chapter uses Unique Impressions for most of our insignia. Their stuff is pretty good, although I've never done an online order through them -- I prefer placing orders over the phone so I can hold someone accountable if there's a mistake.

Anyway, they have a physical store in DE (near the Univ. of DE, i think) and their URL is http://www.uniqueonline.com .

I'm also looking to put in a big order of "bar hats" as in baseball caps with (from top to bottom) a bar, GLO letters, another bar, the college name, and another bar. Does anyone know a good place to get them done? There's such a discrepancy in pricing between different online retailers that I don't know which one to go with

A very good friend of mine from college (and a Sigma Nu founding father at Southeast Missouri State) owns a company out of Missouri called BA Promotions. http://www.bapromotions.com

He does beautiful embroidery, and does a lot for Mizzou. I would check out his prices, because he's usually reasonable. (His name is Brad on the contact page, if you were to e-mail him directly.)

I haven't seen him in years though. :-( But he's very honest, and has worked very hard with integrity to build his business.
