Actually, I have. I've stood in the courtyard in Kilmainham Jail where the leaders of the Easter Rising were executed. I've walked through the burned out shells of churches destroyed by Cromwell. I have no illusions about Christianity's past, but I would point out that the Irish rebellions had a lot to do with Irish Nationalism as part of the Protestant-Catholic Troubles - namely, the Irish wanted their country back.

Really? Tell that to that prick Paisley... thank-you BJU for unleasing that hatemonger on Northern Ireland...

But I do gotta admit that the divide between Catholic and Prod go a lot deeper than just religion - but in admiting that I can;t help but view other religious divides in the same light. ie. how much is religion and how much is politics, socio-economics, culture, history, etc.

Okay, Rudey, in seriousness.

The terrorists that bomb women's health clinics have the backing of Pat Roberson. There's plenty of Christian terrorists, and if you don't think so, you're a fool. Crusades anyone?

You are beyond help. That is in all seriousness.

They have the backing of Pat Robertson to bomb clinics? Show me.
They didn't do anything to spread Christianity. The didn't spread their call for "jihad" all over the world.

The Crusades were a long time ago and I am beyond amazed that you brought that up - actually no, I've seen the gibberish you post and it's on par.

Don't ever call me a fool.
