But poor Beyonce doesn't have a booty. She makes it stick out to give it a 3D effect. That's why her mama makes them tight @$$ clothes!!!
But MeezDiscreet, I've been wondering some of the same things. With Nelly's video, I don't care why his Cutlass is blue. Also, with them women in the laundromat, was it just me or did anyone else see the woman with the cornrows, blue t-shirt and leopard stretchies (that's what I call leggings in NYC) with one of her fake nails missing. It's like all but the index fingernail is there, and the nails are red and long, so you can't miss it!! When you guys watch the video again, look for her when she has that box of Midwest Swing laundry detergent and she's holding that cute fat cheeked girl in her arm. Talk about ghetto!!
Now on to the R. Kelly "Fiesta" remix: I saw the director's cut on this Public Access video show and the girls in the water were completely topless!!! I was like WTH is going on here? And how did a Public Access show get a hold of this $***?
As far as Mr. Usher Raymond IV is concerned, it's not just you. You did, as well as I did, see him hump a tree. I LMAO for a long time.
That Jimmy Cozier video was nice, but the song is pathetic if you ask me. He complains throughout the song up until the last line of the second verse where he says, "As crazy as she is, I want her to have my kid." WTF was he singing the song for if he wasn't gonna leave her crazy @$$! Poor baby, I'd treat him right, but he's utterly hopeless. What a shame.
I can't stand that "I Cry" video. It's sooo stupid and I'm sick and tired of hearing it on the radio all the time. Was it just me or did Lil' Mo's braids with the white ribbon going through them looks kinda stupid.
Let's talk about Blu Cantrell. People say she sounds like Faith Evans (whatever! ). The song was okay, but it reminds me too much of my movie, "Waiting to Exhale" when Bernadine burned all of her husband's clothes in his car and sold the rest of his belongings for $1 each.
Now last but not least, the Iconz video, "Get Crunked Up." WTF was up with them? The video was funny with the White people, but the song is sooo dumb, like Afroman's, "Cuz I got High." That song's funny as hell, but why did he make that song???
That's all for now, good people. I'll be back to post more comments on more videos later.

DIDDY
I am so feeling the puffy song "Diddy". Usually I don't like to see him dancing all over the video, but him in the old school sweatsuit and the dancers is cute
And am I the only one that has NO IDEA what the Neptune guy is spelling? I know he spells DIDDY, but he adds on something else. I can never get it.

I had that problem, but I figured it out.
The D, the I, the D, the D, Y, the D, the I, the D
It's Diddy!
So it spells Diddy Did. I hope they meant that as a statement and let it go.

woohoo!
Girl thank you so much! I kinda thought that was it, but it didn't make any sense to me why he would spell Diddy Did. he changes his name so much
And I take that back that this is my favorite song right now, everytime I sing it, my dog proceeds to drag his azz across the floor so I think he's trying to tell me it's bootie

Actually, there were two big girls in the "Bootylicious" video. Beyonce' said that they wanted to include different types of people in the video.
At least I'm not the only person who HATES this song It's one of the dumbest songs I ever heard and it's truly degrading to women. My sister's Muslim and she hated the video, but she looooved the song. I looked at her like WTF is wrong with you, little girl (even though she's 20)?

I actually like bootylicious simply because its a feel good song for black women. Especially since they had all colors, all shapes in the videos. I like it.

Ummm...moreso...does anyone else not have a problem with the growing need for women to show ALL of what God gave them...INCLUDING female artist...it's gotten so bad that now even the women are walking/shaking/rolling all that they have for the cameras. Before, it was always the female extras in male videos getting paid to do it, nowadays the females directing and singing in the videos do it too...why do we as females keep disrespecting our bodies? when d'angelo's "how does it feel" came out...and men everywhere complained about how "they didn't want to see all that"...I figured videos would calm down some...or at least female artist would display more sexy men ....but just the opposite occured...did anyone else notice this growing trend?? Something to think about.

N Sync's "Girlfriend" Video!!!
I don't know how many of ya'll saw the world premiere, but it premiered on MTV's New Year's Eve thing last night and all I can say is wow!
First off, I was pleased to see that Justin's leading lady in the video was a Sista! I was gonna clown if their weren't any Sistas in this video. They're in heavy rotation on BET now and Free even said what's up with some Sistas in the next video the last time they were on 106 and Park. Glad they took that to heart.
I don't want to give too much of the video away, but it's a cool, laid-back, party type video. I say this about every on of their videos, but this is the best one yet!!!!

about aaliyah... RIP
i was just listening to the radio and they were wondering about aaliyah's sexuality. when she died, usa today reported that damon dash (jay-z's boy and head of rocafella records, i think) was her man. but then i'm listening to the radio and they're talking about how she never has a love interest in any of her videos. and in "rock the boat" she just had a bunch of girls dancing half-naked on a boat... hmmm.. they had me wondering...
and i dont know about any of yall but i am tired of seeing half-naked females in videos, ex. 112 "peaches and cream," r.kelly's "feelin on the booty," among other ones.

BET Countdown?
I half-watched the top 100 of 2001 countdown on BET yesterday, but I missed the top 5... anybody see what was number 1?
And also, Aaliyah had love interests in "1 In A Million", "If Your Girl Only Knew", "Four Page Letter", and some other videos I can't recall right now. I think it's because she does more dancing than dramatizing/acting that it seems like she didn't have that element to her videos.

I totally agree, Sweetest Diva. I remember ONE in a Million and Are You that Somebody but Aaliyah is a dancer and she showcases that in her videos. She is like the old Janet videos.

Man, ain't that the truth!! Ya'll remember when destiny's child was performing on MTV, beyonce's pants were way below the crack of her behind. Talk about nasty! As for music I must say Case song Missing You. That is one of the most wonderful songs that came out for 2001.!! Man, I'm singing it right now.. lol!!
Peace Out Yall!!!
