I always assumed that Padme died when the twins were young anyway. But I would find it strange if she died during childbirth. But was it ever mentioned who Leia stayed with while Luke was with his uncle and aunt? I guess we'll find out...

Leia was adopted by Bail (Jimi Smits character) and Breha Organa from Alderaan, that is how she became Princess Leia

Am I the only one that thinks that Hayden Christiansen (is that the right name?) cannot act?

At least he's in the hood for part of episode III, I won't have to see his emotionless face.

We're going to either the 4 or 6pm showing on Thursday, depending on after school scheduling.

Yep, that's him and he might be able to act, but now that I think about horrific love scenes in Ep. 2, I'm not so sure.

In one of the non-spoiler reviews that I've read
from Aint it Cool News

Link AICN - General Review (non spoiler)

AICN SW Fan - Non Spoiler

Be warned, the spoiler review is right after the second review, becareful if you don't want to be spoiled.

They comment on how Hayden and Natalie just don't have the chemistry and is the weakest point of the entire movie.

I did enjoy Hayden in Life as a House, but that was a great movie.

I will be seeing the movie at 12:01 a.m. 5/18 in Digital..woo hoo, good thing I have 5/19 off

if you guys can, I beg, plea and all things necessary to get you go see this film in digital...it is so much better than film and will notice the difference right away.

How can I find out if it's showing in digital or not? I'm guessing the ads will tell me?

From the Force.net

Digital Theater Locations

like I said, I am that much of a geek (for certain fandoms)

Another Non Spoiler Review - Theforce.net -- states the romance is pure cheese (although the chemistry btwn Hayden and Natalie are better, PLEASE take the PG-13 label seriously, there is a link to the parents guide for the film

Oh one more thing...if you don't have the soundtrack yet, I highly recommed that you get it, included is a DVD with 16 music videos that include all the music from the saga with footage from both OT and PT, This Link is title - A Hero Falls, pretty powerful, the rise and fall of Anakian Skywalker.

You know these days are moving just too slow for me.....its it 5/18 yet?

Thanks for the link, unfortunately it doesn't look like any digital showings anywhere near us. Bummer.

I doubt we were able to get tickets for a midnight digital showing, but we'll definitely see it in a digital theater at some point. There's one right near us.

One of my co-workers is having a Star Wars trivia game and the one with the highest amount of points gets a free movie pass. (It's a general one to a specified theater, not the actual movie.)

I see it Thursday night!

I'm seeing it at 12:01am. I'm totally psycho. I'm going to come home from work tomorrow go straight to bed, wake up around 10:30 head to the theater (in my pajamas), come home around 3:30 (the movie is 2 hours and 26 minutes) and then wake up at 7am so I can be to work at 7:45. I'm going to be exhausted but it will be well worth it. As long as I get sleep ahead of time I'll be okay. Plus, like I said I'm wearing my pajamas so as soon as I get home I can immediately crash.

I say...get there earlier, there may be a line.

So I am a little upset because I wasn't able to get tickets to the Arclight showings, but I have tickets to universal city walk....that is not what has me upset.

I am upset because the fighting 501st will be marching down Hollywood Blvd and I will miss it, if you haven't seen them marching down, envision masses of stormtroppers with Darth Vader leading them, its just an awe-inspiring sight. I missed them some how during the opening day of CIII and when they did it at the opening ceremonies it was ok, but I remember during CII when they did it to the Imperial March (my fav piece of SW music, with Duel of the Fates a close second) during the performance of SW music by the Indianapolis Symphony, now that was overwhelming.

I guess I will just have to deal

Fellow Greeks, I work at a movie theater as a Staff Leader/Projectionist and we watched it tonight. Fun, exciting, moving, tragic.....with a new hope on the horizon....

Still speechless....
