It's all good though It rides very nice but has given me the the worst electrical problems in the world. We've had to buy a new engine, new breaks, get the entire electrical system rewired, new axels, etc. In the end, we've spent so much money would could've just bought a new car. So beware.......
The car that I plan on buying as a little graduation incentive is a 2002 Toyota Solara. It's a two-door and very sporty car. Very cute a multi purpose. I heard it gets good miles and is just a well rounded car.

The Lord just recently blessed me with my dream car: A 2000 Toyota Solara with rims and a nice sound system. Praise the Lord, from who all blessings flow

Scary.... I wanted a 2000 Altima SE but ended up getting a 1999 Mazda 626.
How did you like your 626? Any problems?

Now that's funny! Any particular reason why you didn't get the Altima? I love it so far. My insurance is lower, it shifts smoother, rides better and has less wind noise when the windows are open. It has less body noise also. It was close to 70 here yesterday, so the sunroof was tested out!!! It was wonderful!
My Mazda was generally good to me for 2-1/2 years. When she needed repairs, it was verrrrrry expensive. Also, insurance for the 626 tends to be high. Apparently, it's in the same insurance category as a Benz! Be careful with the transmission-it's a Ford. Enough said. Ford owns Mazda, Jaguar, Volvo and Lincoln-Mercury. Plus, my car always shifted hard between 0-15 mph, and if you have to stop suddenly or take your foot off the gas quickly,it jerks as it downshifts. I have heard the same thing from other 626 owners, so it's wasn't just my car. My car also had a lot of miscellaneous noise that no one could ever find the source too. It was just a noisy car.
The 626 loves the highway, but guzzles gas in a lot of stop/start driving.
Despite my issues with it, overall it's a good car. Best wishes with it.

I could not find an SE w/ the options that I wanted in the span of time that I had (my Dad's car died on me, so I need to get something pretty fast)
Got a good deal on the 626 and it's growing on me.
Yes, I noticed the wind noise, sucks.
I have been on a few Mazda sites for info, so I am keeping an eye on the transmission (getting a Tranny cooler installed soon). I wish I had known the trans. was a Ford product. I had incorrectly assumed that the car was all Mazda. Apparently, only the V6 version is all Mazda.
But, so far so good. TY, and have fun in the Altima.
