YAY for Lord of the RIngs... even though after the 6th award, i was getting sick of hearing their name over and over again. like someone said before... everyone who was predicted to win, won which made it really boring.

I really wanted Pirates to win SOMETHING. And Johnny Depp looked hot.

I am glad billy crystal hosted again this year. As cheesy as his song and dance routines are in the beginning, they still crack me up.

Question: I already forget but who hosted last year?

And why did they keep saying "last year's winner" to Nicole Kidman and Adrian Brodey? Didn't Halle Berry and [insert other actor's name here cuz I can't remember for some reason] win LAST YEAR???

WAH! I wanted to see Legolas. ... in a tux...
Nicole won for "The Hours" and Adrian for "The Pianst"last year. Denzel and Holly won the year before, i think!

Steve Martin hosted last year. I just read those were feathers, not fur, on Sandra Bullock's dress. Either way, it was bad.

"Hi, I'm Charlize Theron -- and nobody would ever guess that Tang is my favorite drink!"

Agreed - she was DEFINITELY orange!

yeah she looked pretty orange didn't she? lol To bad she had to shave off her eye brows for the movie because she looks not so hot without any.

the dresses this year were really no thrills or frills. I mean they were all pretty, don't get me wrong , but nothing very thrilling.

I really loved the dress Renee Zellweger wore the year before ....that red one looked absolutely wonderful on her and this yr her white gown, i liked it , but she needs color. She is
soooooo fair complexed and really blonde.

Diane Lane was the best dressed there hands down- loved the dress so much! Jennifer Garner looked pretty too and I didn't like Rene Zellwegger's, Uma Thurman's, Sandra Bullock's, and Catherine Zeta-Jones' wasn't all that great either. I'm so happy Tim Robbins and Sean Penn won and Lord of the Rings!

I saw MONSTER today and I'm glad that Charlize Theron won. That being said, an upset by Keisha Castle-Knight from WHALE RIDER would have been awesome! Has no one else seen WHALE RIDER?

Well I personally was REALLY hoping Johnny Depp would have won the Oscar and I did see Whale Rider and thought Kesiha did a fantastic job -- man, New Zealand would have really gone crazy had she won!

I am glad Billy Crystal is back!
