LOL!! I never thought of that!

Breathesgelatin, you're right--with the cousins we have 2 Phi Mus, 2 AOIIs, 2 DZs, and a Kappa!

About growing carnations in the yard--they're easily grown but most of the regular-sized ones (as opposed to the minis) end up having to be staked. Their stems aren't too strong and that's why most florists' carnations have to be wired.

So this might be a dumb question, but my apartment is normally about 80 degrees (gross I know, that's a whole different subject) and gets sunlight for about 10 hours a day. Do you think it'd be possible to grow a pot of the mini-ones inside?

Sure! As long as they have a couple of hours of full sunlight a day and some houseplant fertilizer as recommended by the bottle.

Yay! And if I apply my brown thumb to them, they'll just be Gamma Phi colors.

Carnation, you make it sound so easy! But I AM wondering now if I could manage a few of my own carnations this spring...

You guys are a regular NPC meeting. How fun! So daughter #4 is a legacy to Chi O, AOII, Pi Phi, and where else? Cause I'm guessing depending on the relationships she might not actually be a DZ, Kappa, and Phi Mu legacy....

She's only an actual legacy to those 3! But y'all ought to be at family reunions when everybody sits down and starts talking Greek. And it's really gonna get good over the next few years because the girls have all these girl cousins (about 10) who are in 11th and 12th grade and will be rushing soon.

You need an Alpha Tau in there somewhere to represent the AES. Then they can grow me some yellow roses.

That's true, though! My bikini-waxer's daughter's best friend's cousin had that happen to her when she pledged Tri Delta. And the sisters loaded small pearls into B.B. guns and shot them at her fat body parts
