Seeing as though I don't watch the grammy's...thanks for the posting of the pics. What is up with Kanye's hair, and what in the world does Eve have on?....She looks a H.A.M.!!!
Nelly looks really nice, not sure if I am feeling his color shoes, but he looks really nice. I didn't know that JD had cut the hair, but I am glad that he did.
Usher.....get rid of that mess around your neck.

j.lo and marc anthony's performace was HOR-EE-BULL!! she sounded a funky fool!
i liked how the guys looked so nice. even ludacris left the white tee at home.
yes, to answer RD's question, mario does have on makeup...WAAAAAAAY too much makeup.
is melissa ethridge sick with something or does she think that's a cool look? if it's the former, i hope she gets better. if it's the latter, WHO TOLD HER THAT WOULD BE CUTE??
adam sandler looked like he had planned on watching the grammy's at home and not actually presenting.
kanye is soooo extra with EVERYTHING...the hair, the performance, the speech...

Melissa Etheridge was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 months ago. I assume the bald head was a result of chemotherapy.

No truer words have been spoken. It's so many people here in Chicago who loved his music until he opened his mouth in those first interviews saying he wondered why it took so long for everyone to notice how great he was. Too much patting on the back will screw you up. Maybe it's something in the water here. Donnell Jones is the same way.

Kanye is hott, but he must realize that TPTB were watching and can "affect" his "longevity".
Yes. Dana's CD is good. It's a wonder the Queen hasn't really done Broadway.

My synopsis...
J.Lo and Marc...don't ever do that again. J.Lo needs to stick to dancing and for two people who are married, the passion should have been all up and thru that song....but nooooooo. Ya'll ain't in love and you fooled no one by singing that song together.
A.Keyes: Fab dress....she should've left those boots at home....actually in the store. And that was the best performance of that song I've heard.
A.Keyes and J. Fox...great tribute to Ray Charles.
I heart John Mayer!
I HEART John Legend!
I'm not really familiar with Janis Joplin, but Joss Stone and Melissa Ethridge kilt (yes...kilt, not killed) it! It was kinda sad to see Melissa with the effects of the chemo but she represented.
Kanye...overrated and arrogant attitude...
I agree with DIVA1177...Dana Owens: The Album=Grown Folks Music
I'll be back later with more...

Star looks like she's wearing something from Michael Kors in this pic. I only comment on that because MK doesn't sell past 12 in the stores, but money talks, I guess.
BGA needs to cut it out. For real.

Isn't he GREAT! He has a song coming out with Kanye that is verrrry nice. I also LOVE Maroon 5!!!
The Grammy's left much to be desired:
I wish Alicia had preformed Karma, that's my jam!
I wish the Black Eyed Peas 5 minutes would be OVER.
Who told Eve that the predator look was a good idea. It didn't work for Tyra...it won't work for you.
Is Lorretta Lynn all there?
I've never been a big Kanye fan, I think I'm the only person in Chicago who isn't. He has become an arrogant dude. If you are good, your work will speak for you.

Who was that escorting Loretta?
The BEP' CD is good, IMO.
I think the show was better than it has been in the past. At times, towards the end I became bored.
I loved John Mayer on Chapelle's show. He was the guy who performed at the office, restaurant, etc to show how certain instruments influence rhythm or the lack of.

I also like the song that John Mayer has coming out. Did anyone see the MTV preshow and the little skit between Kanye and John? Too funny, although John M. has been A-OK in my book since he was on Chappelle's Show.
No Loretta Lynn did not seem all there.

That was Jack White of the White Stripes, a rock band. He was dating Renee Zellweger (SP?) at one point.

Except for very vew instances, I thought the show was boring and poorly done. During the Tsunami song I kept thinking, they couldn't do better than this?
Ray Charles tribute--that was it?
Mavis Staples--quit all that screaming and just sing.
Jesus Walks--hmmmm, still can't get past some of the stereotyping. Now if it had of been the Essence Awards or BET.....
Usher and James Brown? UGH! The new Godson my foot.
Didn't like Janis Joplin's versions of Black songs anyway, so especially didn't like folx imitating Janis Joplin singing Cry Baby.
Alicia Keys was good but the Georgia On My Mind duet with Jamie Foxx just didn't jell for me.
I just got a feeling throughout the whole show that folx didn't do a lot of rehearsing.

The Tsunami tribute was horrible! I was feeling the Joss Stone/Melissa Etherage tribute. Also enjoyed Bonnie Rait's tribute to Ray Charles. Mad that I missed about 98% of the Alicia Key's/Jamie Foxx performance. Anyone know where I can find a video link? Fortunatelyt I didn't have the displeasure of hearing Jennifer Lopez butcher another song.
Beyonce was beautiful as usual. Star looked really pretty. I hate that whole mullet thing that Eve and Ms. Milian have going on. Otherwise, they would have looked really nice. I thought Latifah looked really pretty and classy. Her CD is really nice for those of you haven't checked it out yet.
