Megan.

I also go by Meg, and Meggy is a pet name for people that I'm really close to.

I have a friend with the same name, minus the "h" - she spells her name Sioban and it's pronounced the same way (Shavon). I also have a cousin named Chivaughn.

Oh, back to the first name question......

My first name is Felicia (not Phylicia and not Felecia).

Kathy - bet you couldn't guess that one!!

My full name is Kathaleen - please take note of the extra 'a' in the middle. If you want to call me by my full name, please do, but you better pronounce the 'a' or I get pissed!

On that topic, you would be amazed at the amount of employers, utility people and banks etc that ask me "Is that extra 'a' really in there?' Um, no, I'm a college grad and I haven't quite figured out how to spell my own name yet....

First name: Nancy
Hebrew name: Na'amia

I knew a girl named Siobhan when I was growing up... She and her siblings had been adopted from Korea. It was kinda interesting calling these Korean kids Siobhan, Kieran, etc...

Don't be sad Carla. FeeFee should only be used as a nickname, IMO. My mother originally wanted to name me Tracy Michelle, but obviously that plan never came to fruition. Oh well.

DaVanda

Vanda is pronounced like Wanda but with a V instead. The V must be capitalized.

Yeah, I get that too. My name is Donielle with an O, not an A, dammit! It's pronounced with the O, too (Don-yell). People always change it on paperwork thinking it's a typo, then I have to go into a whole explanation of how it is actually spelled and pronounced.

Lesley

Spelled with an EY and not an IE. I get VERY upset when spelled wrong. I went by LaLa in college(lonnnnggg story) and my mom and dad will call me Sissy every once in a while, because my brother couldn't say L's when he was little and called me sissy.
And when I curse my dad will pull out the full Lesley Lenora.....

Oh, and I don't like "Les"

Caryn...with a C and Y. I wind up correcting most people on the spelling, but my best friends mom spells it the same way Hebrew name is Keren however I always had my teachers go by the english. I don't use my middle name (Susan) unless I have to (or on my pin)
