Since everyone gives me such a hard time, I'll explain.

I'm NOT some psycho Jennifer Lopez fan

I'm not EVEN a fan, really...maybe of some of her better movies (i.e. not "enough" <shudders>)

This song was on the radio when I set up my profile and I couldn't think of anything else.

Okay, everyone can stop picking on me now heh.

MSKKG: MS for Mississippi, the state and the University; KKG because I'm a Kappa Kappa Gamma. All caps seemed more appropriate than all lower case.

NOT for the candy, but because when I first registered on here I was a lifeguard at a theme park. lifeguard was already taken, so I had to use lifesaver. I often wonder how many people think my screen name is about the candy, lol.

When I registered, i was trying to be a bit nebulous about my whereabouts, because I had some questions about Rush Gone Wrong.

SO, I was going to be a junior in college, and I'm a girl so...juniorgrrl.

I need to change it now that I'm an LSU Alum, 1L at LSU law school and still a girl.

mine isn't particularly exciting...pink is my FAVORITE color ever! it just totally worked out that i became a phi mu. i made this nickname up bc i was on a greek related message board. my favorite nick name is mahleeta. one of my students couldn't say my name (maria) and said mahleeta instead. it was cute.

Back when I was at Valpo and first got an email account, I was also into gaming. Some of the guys at the PMA house had titles for their characters and stuff, so I liked that. Since I'm only 5' 1/2", I chose the nickname Kate the Short.

When I needed to change my email account username recently, I changed it to kateshort from katew, because it's shorter to type than katetheshort.

I wanna know why shadokat picked that name, though... wonder if it's an X-Men reference, or something else...

I picked my name from the movie, "You've Got Mail."
I didn't want to use my name, or my letters/org (I don't know why

) and I was in love with this movie at the time.

I was bored with my old name and came across my old Magic: The Gathering cards and my fav artwork was always on the "StarlitAngel" card... I tried that, taken. So I changed it to Starlet, cos I am one

and Angel... duh... 521 was Jim Poulos' last day in RENT (my fav actor at the time)... to bad Matt couldnt wait til 5-21 to join the cast, he went on 5-20... grr

LadyJ - My favorite character from GI Joe. I remember her as one of the first strong, independent women on TV that could kick some ass but also had a sensitive side. I know it was just a cartoon, but I was 10! I still have her figurine!
