Love this thread... I've been going nuts on Limewire lately

My must haves:

- "Somewhere over the rainbow/What a wonderful world"- Israel Kamakawiwo'o
- "Times like these" (acoustic version)- Foo Fighters
- "Wonderful"- Everclear
- "Shimmer"- Fuel
- "I'm movin on"- Rascal Flatts
- "Angel Eyes (Song for Dave)"- Buzz Poets
- "Motorcycle Drive by"- 3EB

So many more, but these are almost always the first to come to mind...

Fit, but you know it - The Streets
Dry your Eyes - The Streets -> the saddest song you'll ever here.
Beautiful - Meshell Ndegeocello
Dan Bern - I need you
Mofro - Air
Sahara Hotnights - Hot Night Crash

a few other good guys are:
Snow Patrol
The Wedding Present
They're both a little like Belle & Sebastian

Ohhhhh they have such better songs than those...like Dammit which is probably the most mainstream, but Toast and Bananas, Romeo and Rebecca, Time, Strings...come on!

The fact that they are from the "Let's pander to 15 y/o teenybopper girls" series of CDs rather than the "Let's make songs that may sound alike but don't sound like everything else on the radio as well" series.

I'm not sure if you are familiar with their albums, but M&Ms is on the same disc as the songs you mentioned...I don't think anything Blink has done panders to anyone. There are so many so-called fans of Blink out there who refuse to let them grow up from who they were in 1994 and make something a little different. I've had this argument soo many times with my little sister who looks down on anyone who likes any recent Blink. They're men in their 30's with families now..of course things aren't going to sound the same as they did when they were younger! Like what you like, but I choose to love their new stuff and old stuff equally...and how can ANY Blink fan NOT love Reckless Abandon??? If you've ever been to a concert, they obviously LOVE this song.

Umm, yeah, sorry about this lol, for some reason I get really argumentative about this, probably because my sister and I end up in many discussions about them so its already played out in my head. Like whatever you like, but I always feel the need to defend my tastes!! (insecurity )

Actually I am familiar with their CDs, as I own all of them, including Flyswatter - and you will note I did not critique M&Ms, but ROLLER COASTER? That's not one of their better songs and everybody knows it.

A good Toronto act, K-OS with two good songs:

His new one "Crabbuckit" or his earlier "Heaven only Knows"

You can listen to "Crabbuckit" online at his website:
