Hey regardless I thank God I'm American. But if someone doesn't that's cool w/ me. I honestly don't think we should force people to say the Pledge w/ "under God" in it. I certainly believe in God, but there are people who don't. Here in America we have the choice to say or not say whatever it is we believe (well, ok, allegedly we do!) In Saudi Arabia you can't be a citizen if you are not Muslim. When it comes time for prayer if you are Christian/Jewish/Hindu/etc. you have to provide proof of one sort or another or you get jailed (if you are Muslim and not praying). They basically force religion down people's throats (which is entirely unIslamic!!) It would be like here (since the US is predominately Christian) the police rounding up every Christian who wasn't in church (either Sat. a.m. or Sunday a.m., depending on your beliefs). I am so glad that, while we have difficulties here, we have the choices that we do.
